I have been crocheting since I am 9 years old and I learned as a right handed person, as a lefty I adapted and have been selling my handmade knit and crochet items for about 45 years. It is totally a meditation for me. When my son died I grabbed my hook and yarn and began making prayer blankets for all the special people in my life. I’m far from done but my blankets are dedicated to my oldest child’s memory and crochet saved my life

Amen!!! Thanks for sharing this Dinosaur with us. I learned to crochet around 13yrs old. I would make baby blanket ,sweater and hat sets. But now I crochet plushies or amigurumi. But I crochet nowadays to keep me from going crazy. I deal with chronic pain. And crochet helps keep my mind off the pain for a bit while crocheting. So thanks again for sharing your talents with me. God bless you real good!!Amen❤

Thank you so much for being here! I don't have chronic pain but tend to struggle with anxiety and crochet keeps my mind calm!!!! Working with our hands is so great to distract us from so much! Good bless you....and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate (as a former RN, chronic dehydration is a large contributor to chronic pain and eating an anti-inflammatory diet is very helpful as well as is supplementing with turmeric). Thank you so much for being here 💞

This year I started to challenge myself and started to do tapestry crochet to make todebags, and I didn't like the way how the wool looks when you turn your work so I practice to crochet right hand and with that I do not turn my work anymore, I go down in a row let say row 1 then I chain how many chains is needed in pattern and go down row 2 with my righthand😅😅😅😅.
