Very good work as always, hats off to you german roofers. Here in the UK apart from the basics like chimney stacks, valleys and abutments copper work and the other metals ie lead, zinc, stainless steel are pretty much a trade/skill in itself, I myself do leadwork. I was fortunate to learn from a decent bloke myself when I was younger and most company's will have a man or two on board that can do it aswell. I don't know if in Germany to be considered a roofer/dachdecker you are required/expected to be able to do all the aspects of roofing I see you guys carrying out. And the slate work you do is some of the best I've ever seen..very very impressive, especially the ornate work I've seen you do. A credit to the trade. You must be in high demand and very busy. I'd love to spend a year working as part of your gang, especially doing the slating. As a roofer I understand how it works, you have a headlap aswell as a sidelap. I'd be quite confident doing a basic roof in that style myself, I've watched hours of your videos lol. Only place I think I may struggle would be on the valleys and how they sweep around onto dormers and chimney stacks..despite all the videos I've watched I still wouldn't be confident on those details. It seems there's a few different ways of doing those details aswell. Anyway, always a pleasure to watch. From a fellow roofer in the UK

Mit was wird die seitliche Aufkantung zur Laibung abgedichtet? Die ist ja durch die Längendehnung am stärksten belastet.
Ich muss nächstes Jahr 12 Bänke an meiner Fassade so einbauen und suche da nach der richtigen Lösung.

Dort kommt Acryl und dann mit bis drauf geputzt und gestrichen.
Wozu sind diese 2cm die du von der Wand weggeblieben bist? :) Wieder geiles „Lehrvideo“ Man kann sich viel abgucken!

Das hat etwas mit dem einziehen der Aufkandung zu tun und Kupfer sollte keinen kontakt zur Fassade haben zwecks den Ionen.
