It's great fun Tina. Not every oxide reacts the same way but the ones that leave the "chalkiest" residue tend to look really bright and fabulous when you wipe them. Great for layers. Thanks for watching. Hope you are keeping well 💗
That technique is so MAGICAL! I’ve never seen anything like that. Makes me wish when I was doing a clear out several years ago I hadn’t tossed out all the photo paper I’d accumulated. Boo. But goodness that’s gorgeous. Can’t wait to see what you do with these.
Thanks Steph. I have done this a month or so ago Amber K Creative did a video on it. I was lucky someone gave me postcard sizes pack of photo paper. Its great fun. Thank you for sharing. Have a good weekend.🥰💕
You are right! I've credited the wrong person, it was Amber K Creative. I've been watching both her and Susanne Rose almost exclusively and obviously got confused! I've changed the link in my description box now. 💗
Have fun experimenting. Some distress oxides work better than others. The black soot for example I found disappointing but barn door and seedless preserves worked brilliantly. Hope you get good results 💗
Oh wow, didn't know this, I am going to have a play now! I moved my cricut last night and found some photo paper underneath it, so ideal timing, no hunting for them lol
Yes, be good. It's very easy to just jump on the next new craft craze a d they are very short lived. If it's something you really really want then it's always nice to have an idea for birthdays etc 💗
Lovely Steph. There’s something I have never seen

It does make a brilliantly vibrant background. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea if you're not keen on shiny things but I love it 💗
Hello Steph, love the results you got on the photo paper, so very pretty.
Thanks Denise. I really like it too. It's a great colourful background for a card - if you like shiny things💗
Love it when you drop your goodie side down 💋🤩👍
