Tool description: This disc detainer pick is made from quality materials and is made on high end CNC machines. The pick uses “rear tension” as in the tensioning happens in the last disc of the lock. commonly seen on high end disc detainer locks.
The tool is ready to use out of the box.
This tool is effective against locks such as Abus plus, Abus x-plus, Abloy Disklock and most generic disc detainer locks requiring rear tension.
The tool can be modified to work on Anchor lås.
Its amazing the difference quality tools, and I'm sure lots of experience too, makes. Great work.
I wouldn't be too worried about the average thief breaking one of these out and breaching your lock.
I only advertise to locksmiths and hobby pickers to try and eliminate any malpractice. I hope these never fall in the wrong hands.
Very nice job on that beautiful tool
Looks like a great tool!!
Will check out the website.

Can’t wait to get hold of some
you're just showing your hand!
In my defense its a good hand
I was on the lockpicking discord looking for disk picks and they spoke of the discombobulator, but also, a higher end pick thats also made by Tarehjerne. Is this true?
A lot of higher end disc detainer tools are made by me, including the discombobulator.
The higher end tools are made on demand so i dont have any in stock.
What were you thinking?
Great tools you have & superb picking! Should I buy one even I have already your high quality giveaway handles?
Haha up to you !
You know your tool better than anyone, but my first impression was, before you even mentioned it, was the outer sleeved pick would be susceptible to slipping. We all have inventor's bias. But regardless, what could you do to reduce the slipping? Most people will be hard on a tool and expect reliability.
@@laurenarndt464 good question.
If the outer sleeve is slipping you are using too much force. It takes 2-3 Nm to make it go, and thats way more than needed.
If you are worried about slipping, you can use locktite to fix it in place.
@@tarehjernetarehjerne4082 Thanks for your response. Have you tried making picks from 1.4 mm by 3.5 mm ejector pins with sleeves?
@@laurenarndt464 no, these are custom parts made by me and my machining company.
They are not available commercially
@@laurenarndt464 i have not made any by those specs or other type of ejector pin
Great tool!
Great work😉
