Hi! The logic applied via boyles law is wrong, It is kinda okay as it might help people to remember,
But to be specific it is wrong, as it can be applied when the amount of gas is constant,
In this case you are decreasing the volume transiently to draw more air in, the amount is increasing and hence the volume
