Artists' Influencers | Arthur Jafa and Jason Moran

Conceived by Hans Ulrich Obrist, this series brings together artists with the individuals who have significantly influenced the development of their artistic practice. For this edition, Arthur Jafa, video artist, director, and award-winning cinematographer is in conversation with Jason Moran, jazz pianist, to discuss their relationship and individual artistic visions. Jafa’s work addresses black representation, the roles of music, news media, television and the internet, which is both empowering and exploitive.
