i have being hearing alot of such beautiful music. Really touches the heart like Sympathy by Paul mauriat, Theme from summer place by Percy Faith, Lyphard melody by Richard clayderman, Secret Garden and Kenny G going home and dying young. Now this Oblivion is added into my collection so as to stay all night long to long for my wife who had gone for 10 years now. Only such music can fill up those emptyness but not replace her. Thank you for the music.
Ah! Thanks sooooo much for uploading this!! You guys sound uber awesome!!! 8DDD I really love this piece. Three of the kids in my string ensemble at school are playing this arrangement, and I couldn't find it like this anywhere on RUclips... (Maybe I was just searching badly. ^^") But this is my favorite arrangement!! ^o^ Again, it sounds ah-mazin'. 8D
The sound quality of this recording doesn't do justice to what was obviously a very fine performance. The cellist's bowing action is superb - makes me very envious!
Funny, I've been watching your performance every now and then for the past 6 months (I'm having a dance choreographed to it while my piano trio plays it), and I never once noticed that you guys were in Columbia, MD! Right down the pike from me.
Wow, wonderful performance! A lot of people record this, and I always think there's something off about it, but you guys nail it. Two small suggestions, if it's still in your repertory: don't be afraid to bring out the tango rhythm in the piano a little bit more, and it seems like the return of the opening theme should be more intense somehow. Softer pianissimos, perhaps? Just, something to make it a little more different from the opening.
The most hotly debated book in the USA at the moment is "Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother" in which Amy Chua tells how she forced her daughters to study hard and learn instruments, threatening to burn their toys if they did not succeed. The one daughter recently performed in Carnegie Hall. Were you ladies forced to learn your instruments in such a manner? I'm just curious. You sound fine.
Violin's vibrato is a little too intense to me as she can have a little more variety of vibrato applying on different phrasing. But still, i love how they play=D
This music was composed by Piazzolla for a film whose argument is completly alien to Buenos Aires, Argentina and Tango. There is no reason to try to introduce tango rythms within it. Listen this piece played by the Argentinian cellist Sol Gabetta. There is no trace of Tango in her playing.
hi ı am a taner in turkey.I am violin player.I am search this song notes but ı am not find notes.please you send me this song notes please.thank you for your relation.happy day for you.
@Hanpianotrio I think the cello needs to calm down and let the violin play its part when necessary. The cellist keeps playing like it has the melody when it doesn't. Just and observation.
god damn it. Dont speed up the song. From 0:42 to 0:58, the cello's constant offbeat notes are constantly destracting my ears. It's destracting to the point where it "ruins" the song (your playing was great, but the rearranging is somehow crappy). Oblvinion is a slow and perceptive piece that arouses inner emotional intensity as it builds up slowly. Do not be hasty!
Love the tango feel. Piazzolla would be very pleased, I think. Lovely balance. Beautiful women. So glad to find your music!
Tender and brilliant ! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

There is really deep feeling in this performance. It's wise that the piano emphasised the tempo in a more vivid manner than usual. Congratulations!
Dear all: you have succeeded to reproduce the feelings beyond the musical notes. Extremely beautiful. I wish you a brilliant future. Best from Spain.
So beautiful,a haunting song full of yearning! Loved it,thank you for posting!
Welcome to RUclips and thanks for this enjoyable (and well-videoed) performance.
very well performed. straight and direct to heart. soooo lovely
I agree with IncrediblyCompName - beautiful song. Can't get the melody out of my head! And, a good performance here.
@Hanpianotrio I assure you will be, you will be, this is a beautiful performance, greetings from Mexico.
Prachtig, vol energie en recht naar het hart vol weemoed naar het hiernamaals!

Just fantastic, my favourite version + stjepan hauser's
And I hope you also perform "Winter in Buenos Aires" by Astor. I will look forward to it. He shouldn't be thought without that.

beautiful song...because i like the red dress

What arrangement is this? Where could I get this score? I really like it and I would like to play it with my high school's piano trio.
@dec8tlinluna im a pianist but wanting to learn cello next year :) is it harrddd? D: i just want to learn it for leisure!

Beautiful performance! Are they Japanese?Chinese? Is it a famous group in the United
States?

Cheers from Argentina, very good performance! Just accent more the 4-4-2 of Piazzolla's music, the rythm of Milonga... but its very nice! go on!

si te vieras astor por el mundo......
awww i love this piece!
I wish the cellist could move a little more like the violinist... but her sound is still beautiful :)

SO sad =(
beatiful version.. do you like our version? check it!
completely agree with the tango feel... needs a bit more, but beautiful performance nevertheless
good job, but is "Astor" not "actor" lol
nightmare.
Beautiful damn song. And that is not light praise coming from me. I'm picky as hell, and songs don't often reach me emotionally.
is this tango
this sounds like Kingdom Hearts music lol
More like KH music is imitating this style
