It's because of RUclips compression. Depending on your region, even 4K60 looks like 720p30 after RUclips's compression is finished with it. I pay for RUclips Premium and could tell the difference in every comparison, but I'd imagine it looks a lot better in person.
The ps5 pro is not for everyone just like ps4 pro was not for everyone it only had 14% or 20% of the market in 2020 by time the ps5 year 2 came around the ps4 pro had a 40% market due to price dropping Sony isn't concerned about public opinion-they know they'll secure that 14% profit again. That's exactly why they made this move. I heard the same complaints when the PS4 Pro launched, and it was only $100 more. Back then, people were hesitant to buy it too. plus why would anyone want to buy a high end gaming pc when they can just buy a Rog Ally Z1E For $300 and get the power of a Xbox Series S maybe a little better since its on Zen 4 RDNA 3

I spent $2400 on a 4K HDR10 gaming projector, and $2000 on a Dolby Atmos surround sound system, so I don't see why we're complaining about a console capable of 4K 60 FPS with 2-3x the ray tracing performance being only $700. This is how everything is going to cost today and in the future due to inflation.

Look I could see the faster frame rate but they haven't really upgraded the CPU enough for $700. Couldn't care less about the resolution or graphics it looked fine since the PS4.

I went from PC back to Xbox Serie S and it looks like I'll be going back to PC in a few years again. Why go back to console? I'm a casual gamer now and when I get more time, I can go back to PC. Still, PS5 Pro? Man, just feels like a scam at this stage. I loved my P1, PS2, PS4, but I ended up going for Xbox instead of a PS5 just to play Halo and Gears out of nostalgia. Why would I need a PS5 when nearly all those games can run on a PS4? Like sure, there's a downgrade, but I ain't gonna pay a ton of money for a system that has only marginal upgrades. I got my problems with Xbox too, but whatever, that's more of a nostalgia trip for me and playing games I missed in the mid 2010s and playing with friends in the evening for an hour.

After school, it was mayhem with party chats with hundreds of people I knew and private lobbies and custom games of Halo 3 and making friends with people from other towns and villages. I miss those days. Online gaming today feels less social, so I enjoy single player mostly. Been dabbling with DayZ and He'll Let Loose these days and like it.

After a few years PS3 definitely was not mid, and it was a lot cheaper in price compared to really early that gen.

1) If you already have a PS5: you don't need the pro, just buy if you're an enthusiasts and want the best of the best(on playstation)
2) If you don't have a PS5: the PS5 pro might be worth it for you and the standard Ps5 is still available in case you're on a budget and it will get the same exact games.
3) If think a PC is better for the price: then buy a fucking PC (don't need to cry bout it online).
