What a stunner. I have the vintera road worn purple tele coming in the morning from andertons > DHL. Not as expensive or lovely as yours, but maybe next time!
I’ve been trying to get a fender custom shop to make me one of these and we’re having such a hard time to track it down. Could you send me the model number of that guitar?🙏 I need all of those so bad.
Hey, this is an absolutely gorgeous guitar, could you list the specs ? And is it a purple metallic or a purple trans ? The other purple metallic on youtube don't look at all like yours. Thank you
I already mentioned all of the specs in the video but I'll list them again here: Ash Body One piece 'Large 51 U shaped' Quartersawn maple neck and fingerboard with a 9.5" radius. Twisted Tele pickup in the neck, 51 Nocaster in the bridge. 6105 Frets Brass Saddles Gold Anodized Pick Guard Regarding the colour, the spec sheet definitely says Purple Metallic, (Colour code 93 in the custom catalogue). But I do know what you mean I don't think this colour is very common, which is why I like it even more :D Maybe it's something to do with the undercoat I honestly don't know.
I'm a little late to the party but I can offer some clarifications on the color. Your tele looks a little different than other purple metallics (most notably danish pete's) for two reasons: 1) according to several people from the custom shop, one of them being their painter, the custom shop used different paints over the years. they started out with a silver metallic undercoat and a see through purple top coat, sorta like their candy apple reds and greens. somewhere along the line they changed it to a premixed metallic purple which is the one you'll find on danish pete's tele and most of the other custom shops in that color around ~2013/14 and probably the one @Mxhee is refering to. Somewhat recently they went back to the old method of metallic undercoat + see through purple, thus current purple metallics can at times look quite different compared to the older ones. Obviously it's a little confusing because all those different shades of purple were marked as #93 purple metallic, but they are in fact different colors. The reason why current production purple metallics sold at andertons seem to match danish pete's original tele better is because apparently they worked on a slighty different shade to get the see through purple much closer to the original looks. 2) yours is a heavy relic and, again according to the painter from the custom shop, their current purple metallic turns more purply/magenta-ish when it's slightly faded on a heavy relic. That being said, I really like the way your tele turned out. Does it look like danish pete's - no it doesnt, but it has it's own unique thing going on and that is awesome!
@@LadyizraelRoM thank you very much for clearing that up. Just to clarify I didn't get this to copy Danish Pete. I bought it because I loved the colour and specs (obviously was in the market for a 52' Tele) :)
Very nice my last guitar I bought is a telecaster from Amazon LYX telecaster only cost me 109 dollars I love it great action maple finish neck even a vintage telecaster bridge so much fun to play also my telecaster is left handed all my eight guitars are left handed it's amazing
Hey man, what a great looking and sounding guitar...would love to have one of these in that purple metallic, too! But I'm no fan of the relic stuff, sorry.
Good grief, thats gorgeous!
Awesome color!
The most beautiful telecaster i ever see 💥🔥
I can’t decide if I like relic’d guitars, or hate them with a passion.
