- I'm continuously baffled by how passive many BB players are playing in the fantastic new Derby game mode. This is a mode that is ground up designed for aggression and brawling, yet people just sit in the back and snipe all day. Why?

10-minute game mode, WG finally understands their audience.
Sadly yes, this suits their current audience greatly. In the mean time most alpha players have left in disgust
In Wot a match finishes on average at the 4-6th minute, no kidding
@@TheGrandexeno Exactly, WG been ffin up the game since closed alpha to suit their WoT playerbase, it's utterly disgusting.
Or how people cannot work out that you need to be in the green circle to make the balloon move, like there's a counter on your screen showing if it's moving.
You need a functional brain for that, which is a rare thing in WoWS
Like in that Haloween game mode, yeah.
You're the one who doesn't get it: no one cares about the balloon. It's a gamemode where people fight from a closer range and that's all people care about.

Maybe they just think that Deadeye is still in a game. Still, animal research(c). Fun to watch Flolo and MK laugh at it it, but a little bit sad.
This camo actually worked. Thats why Hms hood and pow first salvos targeting not bismarck, prinz eugen. When you look at camo, it looks like ca not a bb from side. Exactly same ships from side and they thought second ship must be bismarck so they shot. After bismack first salvo they realized their mistake and targeting bismarck. Only pow scored hits and rip hood
They shot at Prinz Eugen because the intelligence they received said Bismarck was leading the formation, the British were unaware they had swapped positions before the engagement. It also helped that the ships had very similar silhouettes.
That Camo is the only reason I bought the HSF version of the Graf Spee, it looks like a miniature Bismarck... Although having a giant number painted on the side would probably render it useless since you could just look that up. Either that or start playing mind games by having the crew repaint it mid-voyage.

I like this game mode. It forces players to actually get close and battle. They should keep it as a permanent fixture... . .
This mode is fun. You have to balance staying in the green circle with knowing when to bail and hide and heal.

Can I ask your thoughts Flamu, on WG automatically taking doubloons off your account when you run out of economic signals, I think its so wrong heres why, I own around 400 ships and you have to individually tick the box to not take your doubloons when you run out, and that is for each ship, and then if WG releases an update they all get reset to automatically take the doubloons again, I feel its like them robbing you of your currency. I would love to know your thoughts thanks.
my guy, if you know it's happening, make it a point to check before going into every battle.

Flamu I’ve been hearing if you spec for main battery and reload for the Prussian it can get down to 16 seconds.

Why? Well because most people think them surviving the entire match makes them better players, and aggression when employed by a potato doesn't have a high success rate to offset this wrong belief system.
I mean, I stopped playing years ago but I'm quite sure this is the reason still the same as it ever was.

Your Vermont and Montana 'teammates' are perfect illustrations of why I don't play WG titles
Speshul playerbase isn't unique to WG titles, any game with randomly assembled team, including so-called "skill based MM" will have them.

I DID, however, play WoT from closed beta in 2010 including Clan Wars etc to the tune of 11-12k battles.
Played WoWS from Alpha, quit ~480 battles after release. I saw what happened to WoT and wasn't about to experience it again in WoWS.

midway through this video just want to say what is marceau doing. hope he ends up making like 300,000 damage in the last moments of the match he hasnt contributed to. i used to be that guy trying to super flank by circumnavigating the square.
Reduce the dispersion by flat 30 meters and increase for that the reload by 2 and it would been an acceptable ship.. But having the same dispersion, therefore elipse like GK, but at the same time less shells makes it just even more awful and unreliable.. Even though 15k is a lot of fun with ~20sec reload.
Honestly, in Preußen i see an inferior ship, misses a lot of shot and when scores a hit the chances of having an overpen or shatter are high, for just 8 puny guns, this is pathetic, think GK was better for the 12 gun volley, at least that reduced the chance of missing (and btw, 3 citadels on a clueless Yamato isn't a big deal)
It fires the same DPS with better pen and better angles.
GK is a lot worse than you think compared to Preussen, and it's because of the gun calibre and turret angles. With Preussen, you can angle and still have all your guns on target, ESPECIALLY when kiting, AND you can overmatch many cruisers at your tier now. GK may have the heavier broadside, but that doesn't matter if you not only don't hit, but also don't pen the few shells you do hit. I played GK and Preussen back to back and the difference is night and day, despite how similar they are. In fact, I broke my personal damage record with Preussen just because it feels far more comfortable to play, even if most of your shells usually land in the next map
Good luck firing with that angles lol. Any battleship close range will absolutely massacre you. And good luck with that absolutely garbage penetration too.

Flamu, you clearly don't understand that people are simply preparing for the inevitable day where WG makes you pay doubloons for any HP lost in battle, and so they camp in the back to save themselves some money. Obviously why they do it.

you always rip on your teammates, yet you never try and ''help'' them think?
They're already tier 10. It requires tons of games played to climb tier 10 and they should be experienced enough to know what's good and bad.
If this was tier 5, I can understand that, but this is tier 10; you're expected to understand the game well enough to not put yourself in such positions where you require help to begin with.
