I really think this show could win an award for Yewon's storyline. It's kinda like watching a drama. I really REALLY hope she's able to overcome the edema and sing her heart out!
Same like you see groups quitting music because of rumours, quarells or their company. But you rarely see someone who wants to sing, but is unable and her unability makes her want to do it even more.
I feel like Hong Jinyoung's story is really underrated/I see very few people talking about how impactful it is. Like imagine training so hard for so many hours when you're young to have someone tell you to change genres altogether. I love her new music, but it's great to see her be able to accomplish her original dream with the skills she's gained

I actually started watching this show for Hong Jinyoung, but now I'm rooting for them all. I've become a big fan of Somi and Minzy though and I'm looking forward to their futures.
I'm also here because of Hong Jinyoung. She's such a lovely person on other shows I've watched. You can't help but love her and her energy. I have the biggest girl crush on her. I'm so happy that I get to see a side of her that I wouldn't see otherwise. And her history really makes me want to root for her
The way Somi was talking about the love triangle made me fall even more in love with her for some reason. She is such a special girl, I didn't why people liked her so much until this show. She is sweet, funny, talented, very emotional sometimes and she is such a kid I love it.

watching this again seven years later bc this is such a comfort show. hearing sook say that she hopes it will be renewed for another season is so bittersweet :( ever since unnies slam dunk, i cannot brush off the fact that the comedy industry all over the globe is heavily male dominated. this show was not just about forming a girl group, it showcased women who were funny, hardworking, compassionate, and talented. i sincerely hope we get more shows dedicated to showcasing female talent and comedy in the future!!
Jin Young does not just teach the courses, but cares about their concerns, clears up their confusions. That is what a good teacher does by lifting up the others. Jin Young is mature, but he is shy and cute. That makes him attract girls at all ages 😀
Yewon's place is my ideal apartment, like honestly. She has an art room, an exercise room, nice furniture, a nice kitchen, plus the interior designing looks so good.

Although somi is always so bubbly and cheerful outside she's been hiding a lot of concerns -she wanted plastic surgery and to dye her hair black to look like Koreans more -she's scared to sing in her real voice to stand out too much in the group -she was told by jyp that her dance was bad so she didn't get into twice -she's scared and isn't confident to be alone but jyp has planned to debut her as a solo I'm glad that she can talk about her concerns with professionals in this show(like minzy and the vocal trainer). hope she'll gain more confidence through this show and debut as a better singer later

MAN I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH I really hope there will be a season 3 because sook is so passionate about it and i think she would do it again and many people love this show too. I watched sisters slam dunk the first time 5 years ago and got really sad that there wasn't a third season and now i rewatch it for the third time (including the first season) and I NEED MORE! Unnies may think Jang Jin-young Seonsaengnim is intimidating, but I don't think he is at all. Strict maybe, but a person that is tough like that kind of inspires a person to want to do better. I actually wouldn't mind his strict style., because I wouldn't want to just be good or great, but incredible.
