Loved how you explained everything! It's awesome when you hear some explanations that really make sense because they are backed up by science, and you can understand the reasons why things happen in a certain way. Instead of yet another plain motivational speech by every other influencer. Thank you so much, you are an inspiration!

I love how honest you were here. Do tired of people just blaming their age for things instead of being aware of how often times when we were younger we were way more active and at times handled stress better. Awesome video!

During the final exams in my med school years , I found out that if I eat small amout of meals at intervals , it made me more effective and attentive at studying than having a large amount at one time altogether, which, made me more lethargic and blunt afterwards

Nice video. Would like to comment though that post-meal sleepiness has several potential causes and reactive hypoglycemia is actually probably one of the more uncommon ones, especially in healthy individuals. I think the more common cause is parasympathetic system activation (i.e. to digest meal in GI tract) and insulin secretion-->absorption of tryptophan -->serotonin-->melatonin, causing sleepiness. But certainly agree that post-meal activity blunts the glucose, insulin, and lipid spikes and has been shown in several RCTs. Postprandial somnolence or fatigue is a term you can look up if you want to learn more.

You are so inspiring, I got 99th percentile for the entrance exam of my medical university, but now I waste a lot of time and lack a clear goal. I hyped myself up so much in order to pass this exam and yes I fucking did it, but what now. To motivate myself I convinced myself that this exam is literally do or die.

I second the sleep, taking breaks, and switching up tasks once you complete something if you're starting to feel drained. When studying for boards I would also take a "stressy depressy walk" with my friends where we would force ourselves to go outside and walk for about ten minutes and just talk out the stress that was building up throughout the day. Studying silently with friends as body doubles also helps you stay focused but limit to three extra people max

I didn't find didactic to be as difficult as I thought it would be. I studied a lot but still put like 100+ hours on cyberpunk and another 100+ hours on Genshin. I had a lot more free time than I thought I would. In clerkships I finished KOTOR 1 and 2, tales of arise, and all 3 mass effect games. Clerkships was actually pretty chill for like half of them where I didn't have to study for shelf exams as I wasn't on a core rotation and I got super lucky with really chill attendings that didn't try to kill me and spent most of their time driving their residents. Even this one attending people were warning me about turned out to be pretty cool. I kind of miss it compared to how much I am working now (except for gen surg clerkship 80-90h weeks lol)

Perhaps because, as he stated, he scarfed down food. If he's doing that then he likely isn't eating worth a damn at all. Or, he wasn't at that time. You can lift all you want, if you're eating trash meals, and getting terrible rest, you are not going to grow very much. Sure, you'll look DIFFERENT in the mirror and get somewhat stronger but you will not be "swole" by any means.
Also it's possible that his lifting routine was terrible. He could have been lifting too often, not often enough or lifting too light or too heavy. I've known countless people who have hit the gym for 5-8 years and never hit their "sweet" spot until year 9 or 10. On the other hand i've known people who found their sweet spot after 6 months. It's a difficult balance and its something that only you will know when you find it.
Take it from someone who has been in the gym since 1991 and gained 50-60lbs and lost 50-60lbs multiple times.

In my opinion it is quite ridiculous to claim that poor food choices is the sole causation for low produtivity. There surely is a correlation between general health and motivation levels, but I think your mentality is dependant on many more factors than just your diet lol. Also you base your argumentation mostly on anecdotal evidence
