Does it have metric settings?
Hello, May I ask if I can use a graphite crucible and melt metal in this? Thank you
You may but please cover your crucible during this process to avoid harming the heating elements.

Hi there, I love this product and am very interested in buying one.
The lady in the video said "RapidFire Kilns are not suitable for wax or resin burnouts, but we do offer upgraded versions of these kilns for that purpose".
Can you please direct me to which models/versions she is referring to?
Thank you.
Hello! We do offer furnaces that are Hi-Temp Burnout Oven Kilns that are designed with a pre-drilled vent hole for wax burnouts, etc. They can be found on our website here:

Would this be good for firing plain old clay pottery projects? I am an absolute beginner with pottery and I wanted to make an informed purchase. Sorry if this is a silly question. Thank you in advance!
Hello, Benny! I will check with our furnace technician about your inquiry and let you know if this is suitable for that. Thanks!

I have the manual one with the whole in the top. It’s been a year and I can’t find any help on how to use it with lost wax casting. I have no clue of when to change the temp and how to use the buttons since it isn’t programmable. The only successful thing I completed was the Initial burnout from the paper instructions that came with it.
Any guidance would be great… or where I can find instructions to print out.
same here!
Is the fan just always running ? I don't see a switch for it
Dear Jessica, Yes the fan is always on. This keeps the electrical components cool during operation.
had their equipment before
can you set temp and set a time for it to heat? i need it to heat for 3 hours then shut off.
Hi Steve, This version is not set up with a programmable controller however, we do have a version that allows you to set a temp and time which will automatically shut off. Please see - pmcsupplies.com/tabletop-rapidfire-pro-lp-programmable-furnace-stainless-steel.html

I am trying toknowwhat temperature put to fire glazed ceramic jewelry but nobody says it .I have this kiln
Hi! Did you get it to work? How do you like it?
Every clay has a different temperature. The package of clay should say what cone or temperature to fire.
Mine reads “EEEE” what does that mean?
Hello Lucky, Your thermocouple or temperature probe is not reading back to the controller. You can check if your wires are well connected. If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us. 855-298-7627
