    Congratulations on your purchase of your new RapidFire Pro-LP, proudly made in the U.S.A.
    Here is a quick video on how to program the unit. You will want to do this is a very well-ventilated area, preferably outside. We show you how to set up a turn-off program to start, an important first step.
    Please note: the unit will start to smoke once you start the burnout procedure (this is perfectly normal), which is why we prefer you do this outside.
    **The unit will turn black on the inside, which is also perfectly normal. After a few uses, it will turn back to white.**
    If you are thinking about buying the RapidFire Pro-LP and have not done so yet, you can see our demonstration video here:
    tinyurl.com/y3l42739
    And to purchase, please see this link:
    tinyurl.com/yyecq3h8
    If you have any issues at all, even after watching this video in its entirety, do not hesitate to call us at 1-855-298-7627, Monday through Friday, 9 am - 5 pm EST, and we will gladly help you.

    Nice and clear video, however; that programming of these pid controllers still need a instruction video in 2021 while you only set a handful of values, goes to show that these controllers are waaaay outdated.
    We live in a time of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and smwartphones. A simple connection to a piece of software or app on a phone that lets you drag a graph with less then 10 clicks on a screen should be no problem in this day of age.

      Dear Trond, Please note our Rapid-fire PRO-LP is not suitable for wax burnouts. Its most likely that your thermocouple has failed due to not using the correct kiln for this application. We recommend only using our Hi - Temp models for burnout applications per the warning sheets and instructions that come with your kiln: pmcsupplies.com/programmable-tabletop-hi-temp-2200-f-electric-burnout-oven-kiln-for-3d-pla-resin-and-carvable-wax.html

There are 30 steps within the programmable controller allowing you to set as many programs as you wish within the 30 steps available. • @Rangiroasis
    @Rangiroasis 3 года назад +4

    I cant fabricate an acceptable reason why a variance of 25 degrees + or - isn't covered in this video or the manual in detail. I thought mine was broken and it almost became a very expensive anchor. Plenty of kilns are not programmable so you pay more money for it to follow a burn cycle, so when it waffles off the plan you cant help but think something is abnormal. I know 25 degrees isnt changing the results of your mission but watching it visually stray from the numbers can ruin your day if you dont know how to process the data. Now I add +20 degrees to every temperature program entry religiously. The car dealership didnt tell me that when I set my cruise control to 60 mph, I might be going 85mph or 45mph.

    • @ralfkessler
      @ralfkessler 2 года назад

      So i also have concern in the variation flux of temp. My furnace door does not seal and i am about to use furnace cement/gasket to try to control that flux in temp. I am also using the furnace to heat treat and temper steels

      Every PID temp controller is like this. You have to learn it like you would a new phone or other electronic device. Just remember the time in each step is the time it takes to reach the next step temp... So it's a ramp up time. To hold you'll have to enter the following step at the same temp and the time as the time you want it to hold there. Holding at a temp involves 2 steps. Confusing... Sry...but vital.
