Off topic but I would love to see your full makeup collection/storage
I get asked about storage a lot but unfortunately I don't feel comfortable filming my collection - I prefer my videos to be concise and based on a concept or theme, so showing everything I own would feel a bit materialistic. I love seeing other people's collections! Just not my style to film mine. I don't have any fancy tips either 😂 My products are just divided up in small boxes inside bathroom drawers, and thinner items are in empty candles or glass jars x

I've always wondered why non-caucasians are called people of colour.
@@cathhl2440 because they've historically been marginalized for the colour of their skin and it's still relevant today
i appreciate how you say “on my skin” because some shades can look really different depending on skin tone.
Of course! It's one of the reasons I didn't feel the need to be on camera on my channel, because the same product will look different on every single person. Worth mentioning every now and then though, in case people watch these videos and think 'but that doesn't look like that on me!' 👍 x

Gemma is perfect. As an Asian (hence similar skin tone) and someone who studied law (hence may also opt for a more subtle and yet sophisticated look), I feel her makeup color moods are always so spot on. I once saw her interview and she seemed very humble (just said she read law, but mentioned nothing about Oxford) and polite. Definitely looking forward to seeing more from her (both beauty and acting).
She's incredibly humble and seems very laidback! For what it's worth, there were plenty of women in my law school who preferred much heavier makeup than me, so it's always a matter of preference 👍 x
I’ve been following since her appearance in Sherlock and so happy to see that she gets the recognition she deserves! She’s so elegant and the fact that she’s Asian cheers me up because it means more Asian representations in Hollywood 💛💛

I don’t know if anyone noticed or remembers, but I’ve been looking for a pale gold cream shadow/highlighter (I use them interchangeably because duh) and I finally found one that seems to work pretty well.
It’s the L’Oreal Age perfect cream shadow in 07 Vibrant beige.
I’ve generally been very impressed with L’Oreals cream shadows, as they don’t crease on me at all, while still being nice and pigmented. It also doesn’t break your wallet and I personally had problems finding brands that sell in my country, that don’t sell for like 50€.

Haha don't worry, I've had it for years (longer than I wish to admit!) and even with almost-everyday use, it's still going strong! 😄👍 Swatching hasn't made a difference x

My skin is almost always bare when I apply it (but I always have moisturiser and SPF on, and sometimes a very light layer of skin tint) and it blends seamlessly! 👏 I don't use it under my eyes, only to cover blemishes or spots, so no creasing at all x

It's a really nice formula! Unfortunately I can't suggest shades for other skin tones, I'm not a makeup artist or an expert 💄 Your skin sounds similar to mine though, but I'm mostly drawn to reds and berry shades! x

Matilda 🤗 to me, it’s the equivalent of the little black dress in a (brown) eyeshadow palette. When all the other palettes get too warm, too cool, or just too crazy, this is what I turn to...a classic, just right brown trio, with one perfect vanilla shade. Simple, yet Divine. 💫
