It's a compo doll from the late 40's with her orginal mohair wig but clothes are not orginal and paint has been chipped off her fingers...would have loved to find that doll for my collection!!

Hello! I’ve enjoyed watching your videos during this crazy time we are living in. My sister’s name is Michelle and is called Shelly...a lot of people call her shell belle! I did the same thing with the lularoe pants. I bought 5 pairs for twenty five dollars a while ago! I am enjoying wearing them around the house as like you I won’t wear them out to the store. Haven’t been getting out at 67 years old I am at risk. I’ve been crocheting a lot! I miss going to the thrift store and your videos have helped fill that void. Take care!

At our rummage sales you are told to keep the tables neat or you will be banned from future sales , so no it’s not okay to make a mess here.
It is not the same around here. Those rules are the not the same rules where I go. The ladies are super sweet and they do not care if messes are made. They understand that is the entire point of a rummage sale. These are not high end department stores. It is literally just rifling through large heaps of used clothing that are not in any sized or type of order to begin with.
I wish they did here. It’s a pain to record and restock everything so I just don’t look at clothes anymore.
Maureena Lucas, thank you! It’s just good manners...showing respect for others. If they have them in “heaps”, that’s one thing. But if they have a nice, orderly display of their goods, then you should leave it as nice as when you found it.
Calling the doll Freaky or Weird is so off! I know that people are doing it now, but we loved our dolls! I think she mus t have been very expensive because of the h air. Remember, WWII really limited production of toys and dolls. The whole country was mobilized for the war effort. We even saved the bit of metal used on the outside wrapping of chewing gum! back to the dolls, they were very loved and treasured.
