7 years later and I'm finally finding a video that does a good job of explaining some things. I have a x32 Producer and can't find my way around the thing, but this helped. I'll watch your other videos, cheers.

Can it be done in the opposite way? Selecting the channel of the source (ex. bass) en moving up or down the fader of the buses (aux) ?? Thanks for the video!

If I understand your question correctly, no, it won't work that way. "Sends On Fader" puts the board into a mode in which you are mixing what is being SENT (SENDS on fader) to a bus or group mix. To do that, you have to select whatever group mix or bus you want to send to first, then enable Sends On Fader. Selecting a channel of a source (as opposed to a bus or group) is only used when you want to control specifically that channel, like when you need to change the EQ, effects, name, routing, etc. of that channel.
By the way, this video wasn't made for general training purposes. I made it specifically for the people who run our mixer at our church, based on the way I've configured our mixer. Other X-32 mixers won't necessarily be configured the same way.

The sends on fader button will work both ways. If you are selecting an input, (on the left) you can adjust levels into each bus (on the right). Or, you if you select a bus (on the right) and adjust levels of each input (on the left). As stated below by the OP, that is not how they are using it in this specific instance, but the board is capable of either way. See this video from Behringer that shows both ways. ruclips.net/video/yd27P3MOORY/видео.html

@@CommunityofHopeHouston You are WRONG... it absolutely can be done in the reverse... select a ch, press SOF, then push up the buss master faders...

You should be sending a stereo mix to video.
