Yesterday stucked in the traffic of İstanbul I was singing some of Beatles Songs; Help, All my loving, etc. I try to sing back vocals of Paul in Help but can't do it and thouht there should be someone on youtube who shows the back vocals for Beatles. But wasn't expecting such amazing vocal harmony lessons on Beatles songs. Excellent job. Thanks a lot from, Turkey.
ENGEN Also I was surprised because your singing becomes very similar to John while singing John's verses and Paul for Pauls verses. I was suprised beacuse not only your voice but also your in eye and head movement becomes very similar especially to Pauls.
Dear Galeazzo, I admire professionalism and seriousness when approaching the Beatles. You have both. I’m 72, I grew with them, I’ve loved them, I saw them. You are doing a good job, you make their ‘magic’ live again. Well done, guy. Thank you.
A big "thank you"! Our band does quite a few Beatle covers and any time we learn a new one we always go to your videos to either ensure we're singing the harmonies correctly or often times to learn from scratch how to reproduce them. We know these songs like the backs of our hands, but I've never seen anything like the way you are able to break them down, many times pointing out things that are very hard to decipher when listening to the original song. You're a great teacher!
The first half, with the singing would have been sufficient for a great tutorial, but the second half with the detailed analysis is even better. Utterly engrossing hearing the explanation for the different parts, with you analysing performance details which were (probably) made subconsciously by the Beatles themselves. The highlight for me was the emphasis on the consonants in the harmonies, to leave space for the lead vocal (5:40)! The analysis is worthy of the original!
Hey Galeazzo, one of the things I admire most of the beatles is the way they feel the songs, it reminds me to opera. This is something you DO show on your videos but do not make explicit to the unaware listener. For instances, when John shouts : "and when I tell you that I love you... you gonna say you love me too" you can see the tone of his voice begging for love first and second dreamiing with an answer.
Intro john 0:57 Intro george and john 1:11 Intro paul 1:23 Intro john additional 1:38 Verse paul and george 1:47 Refrain john 2:00 Refrain george 2:23 Refrain paul 2:48
Very keenly observed and very clearly explained. There's no excuse for any band doing a bad cover of this song after listening to your wisdom. Thanks heaps.
You are a great teacher!!! I just learned this song on ukulele and working on the vocals never realized how complex they were. Beatle man. Just amazing.
I've seen this one and "I'll be back" so far and I'm lovin it. I've already picked out a lot of harmonies/vocals by ear. I'm a pianist who play by ear instead of sheet music. But you've taught me a lot about these songs that I didn't know about. It's really educational and enjoyable. Thank you! Do more!
This comment made my day. Indeed one of the most best kept secrets of good singing (And subject of future videos) and for sure the most underrated, is being able to INTERPRETATE. Being TRUE about what you're singin and if you're not feeling that way which often happens in that particular moment, trying to dive yourself into the mood of the lyrics just like an actor does with a script. This is why millions of people sing while just a few thousand move.
So glad I discovered these videos. It's like hearing the music for the first time. Before, as much as I enjoyed the early Beatles, I was hearing only one dimension. Thanks for sharing your great talent!
Thanks!! I was going to do this in a group of just singers, but when I started to learn it, I realized it was far too difficult. So I might multitrack it myself. But the vocals are complex for someone like me who doesn't have a lot of time to deconstruct and learn them perfectly. I was six years old when the Beatles sang on the first Ed Sullivan Show. I've been listening to Beatles constantly ever since. But I don't have the talent to easily learn their vast array of harmonies! Thank you for this tutorial!
You are amazing! I enjoy your clips sooo much. A real talent. Like the Beatles music itself, I never tire of listening and learning about the Mozart's of our time. Thank you for your contribution and please continue.
Awesome video. I was playing and singing it all wrong. I saw your video and ran through my albuns to hear the original version and it is amazing how right you are sir. It is very accurate. Thank you.
Wonderful job that you make, absolutly worth to be widely shared In addition I love the Beatles, and better, their time of glory was the one of my teen age, but their tunes are immortal and still make me deeply vibrating
You are AMAZING! Your voice, your harmony, your interpretation, and excitement... these videos show just how much you love and respect Lennon and McCartney! I am a huge Beatles fan, I only wish I could take vocal lessons from you and sing half as good as you!
quite impressive. you analyse every nut and bolt of the vocals. it makes it clear why it is such an good song. also the basics are easy to sing along. but if you want to make a good job of the song, you need to be able to do your tricks.... Well done!!
Muo make a wonderful work with this videos! Thanks ! We see and hear you from Argentina. We sart to see you when you make your first wersion of the wonderful If I fell with your Lennon Songpartner!
Here, there and Everywhere, is like that all the song. Michelle (I need you, I need you... ) and Help do not have a single tone that is not related to the ongoing words. Man, you do a fantastic job! Abrazos

Just when you think you've got your Beatles perfect, this guy comes in and sais" no no this is it " Wouldn't have all those parts with out that incredible gift of his.
In "Help" same comment applies: he ask for help 4 times in a row, the first is a clear message, the second insistance and the 4 is desperation after the 3rd.

One of the most difficult songs to sing by the beatles. You're a genius man.

My favorite band and my favorite Lennon song. Thank you so much for helping me with songs I have been singing for the past 30 years.

This is more accurate, like the record, the other is a bit simplified for live use.
Wow. The Beatles harmonies were pretty intricated.
