Thanks for recording this. I wanted to better see his chord progressions on this piece. I had already figured out that he was tuned to open C and got some of it down just by listening, but this gives me what I need to nail it down. I was at the show and they killed it. 👍
@unrealgiraffe69 I tabbed a version of this before this video and upon watching this realised his open c tuning has a d in it, completely ruining my tab! I can send you it if you want
@mikeparler the tuning is from thickest string to thinnest: C, G, C, G, C, D Hope this helps! I've seen that there's still no one that's tabbed this so might add it to ugt once I figure out how to write it out without guitar pro!
I've really been looking forward to the live version of this. Blackberry Smoke is so good live, and i am not familiar with open C guitar... but I'm sure gonna be now! Thanks for this! Subscribing!
There was a Get Well Soon Brit message on the kick drum, and when they introduced him to the crowd, they said they hoped Brit could hear the response back in Atlanta.
@@stovalsky Yes, he's had a brain tumor for over a year now, but somehow he played most of the shows last year, which is unbelievable really. Lately though he's missed quite a bit and I just was worried about how he's doing.
Kind of surprised they haven’t said anything publicly about Brit. Charlie has been very open about his battle, but there’s been a lot of silence lately which is concerning. They’re fortunate to have Kent on drums to fill in. But it’s not the same without Brit. He’s battle a horrible cancer. 😢
@@bullmoosepiper7732 Agreed, it is concerning. And Kent does good, but you're right, it's not the same. Brit has a certain swing that's hard to replicate. It's a lot like the Black Crowes without Steve Gorman. Does anyone know why they don't use Preston on drums instead? They played for years without extra percussion, and he has played drums alongside Brit a few years back. Just curious. Obviously there's a reason, I'm just curious about that.
Such a gorgeous song!!
I ove Blackberry smoke and I love this song!
Just when i think i found the best song...there's this. RIP B.
RIP Britt TURNER😥 Courage à sa famille et aux membres du groupe

If you tab it out I would pay for it lol in love with this tune.

RIP Britt Turner. So hard to watch the shows till the pain goes away...You fought like the warrior you were...You will be forever missed 😢
Watched them live yesterday, it was a beautiful concert
So disappointed I was sick and unable to attend the Charlotte, NC show!
Did they mention anything about Brit? He's been missing from the shows for a little while now.

I talked the merch guy and he said brain tumor.

This totally has a Led Zep 3 vibe to it.
Who is the drummer!?
The drummer for this show was Kent Aberle. Aberle was filling in for longtime drummer Brit Turner who is battling brain cancer.
