- This is a tier list of 289 of gaming's most popular series, ranked by how much I enjoy them or have enjoyed them in the past.
Franchises such as Halo, Resident Evil, Mario, Zelda, Tomb Raider, BioShock, Final Fantasy, Mass Effect and many, many more besides are tiered, as well as some even a hardened gamer like myself hasn't played or, on occasion, has barely even heard of.
It's all just a bit of fun, so please don't take things too seriously if your favourite series doesn't come out near the top, it's all based entirely upon my own personal taste.

Three straight hours talking about so many different games entirely off the cuff with no breaks means there will be the odd mistake or things I fail to remember (I've got a terrible memory). Do forgive me whenever that inevitably occurs!
Fun fact, this is the second attempt at this, after I thought the first recording was too long at two hours in length. This one actually ended up being an hour longer somehow, at which point I admitted defeat.

I can summarize my number 1 favorite franchise with one word, halo!
Doom has to be a masterpiece series! The old games are such classics, Doom 64 is really underrated, and the new installments just put it over the top.
The old games were amazing at the time. These days they've just aged too much, unless you're into retro games. Doom 3 was very meh.
The reboot was cool, but I've had enough of it already. I didn't play the new Doom beyond the demo, but I quit Doom Eternal halfway through.
The game's just too long and the gameplay loop doesn't change. It got boring, especially without a proper story to keep you engaged.
Metro and Bioshock are masterpieces, Good video though

I will forever say Stalker (specifically COP) is a masterpiece of atmospheric storytelling and tension. The lab sections and underground areas in all the games are basically burned into my memory. Also ace combat is a masterpiece. It’s pushed the technological limits of its hardware ever since its PS2 days, and it really feels like top gun and metal gear had a child in terms of its presentation. If you haven’t played any of the games I would highly suggest playing 7.

I do believe magnifying glass was meant to be Marathon, which is one of my favorite games of all time. Just oozes with that early halo style mystery element but dialed up to 11!

I'd find this really challenging, as for me I'd be rating them as a series overall. So if there was a dud or two....it would lower it's ranking by alot. I love Halo. Mass Effect. Resident Evil...but due to the questionable entries I would overall rank them mid tier.

Ska-blam! headhammer, calamari inkantation 3mix, wave goodbye, onward, anarchy rainbow, were so back, ink me up, maritime memory, tide goes out, hide and sleek (concert version), unconscience, ebb and flow, blitz it, onward, and daybreaker anthem are better than some mainstream songs atm. not to mention actual concerts are held for the songs.
Also not to mention the art and storymode are so goood! The game is for kids but it resembles racism and real life world history events in the game
