When you feel like the only one, but there are people out there who are doing woodworking chamfer, photography, videography, dentistry chamfer, CAD/CAM designing, Milling, and printing. You inspired me to appreciate all the delicate work that came to making a Seiko!
We are all nerds about this too. That's why we watch. I don't think you need to leave anything out of your videos. I've said it before, you have an amazing eye for design. Love what you do. Keep it up.
Another superb build Eric, showing how it’s done is part of the process so my vote is to keep the machining portion in the videos. Still waiting for a shop tour video.
I’m fascinated with the machining. Lots of channels show mods or builds but not many show actually full process from making the components to the base materials. ( from my new experience) Happy I found this channel.
You are the GOAT! One of the biggest influences as to why I started my own modding channel and company. Always giving us something new to strive for! Amazing work! Keep it up!
I would say very little to none should occur - the watch is sealed with a screw down crown, caseback, and gaskets throughout so little to no exposure to the elements.
Have you thought about building with the seiko mechaquartz? Love looking at the smooth sweep and knowing that you will get all the accuracy. Specifically have you considered making/selling a movement holder that could allow replacement of nh35?
This is awesome! I’m just getting into modding and your videos are a valuable resource for me. But this is on a whole other level for sure. Absolutely amazing and impressive.
I am surprised by amount of attention to details. Since I am somewhat experienced in metal manufacturing I’ll give you few advices. First, I’ve noticed some play in spindle while you where machining, that can cause issues with finish. I assume, buy the setup it’s router cnc machine, so I guess that amount or play is normal. I could be wrong about router, but for me it looks like it. Also, don’t know about your feeds and speeds but from chamfering op, it looked like tool needed more rpms. Also, while tool you are using for chamfering is not wrong, I would use chamfering tool with z=6(teeth). Your tools, since it has z=4, has more of flat bottom, hence it’s not being able to cut material with face of tool. Also, tool with more teeth will help you with cutting speed if you are at limit of your rpms. From experience, this tool will give you much better finish. Additionally, you can try engraving needles, they are specifically designed for engraving and they leave nice surface, especially if they have rounded tip. Finally, if you are prototyping, please use aluminium sheet to test and run programs than when satisfied with results, use silver. 😅
Bro its so cool that you came up with an original dial design! Its so difficult to design a unique watch that looks good. I like it man, especially the light blue/ teal anodized. If i could i would have you do an 18kt rose gold dial $$
Amazing content .. thank you for taking the time. . have you considered taking the dial to a local jeweler. . to have it RHODIUM plated. . it will keep it from tarnishing.. .and the different finishes will not be affected.
Lovey watch you made Eric,, Once again your going strength to strength. PS I have two of Eric's watches his and hers seikonauts all gen parts and they are beautifull his attention to details is spectacular. You need to get one or two. Top Marks and after two years of wear they still look as good as new and keep perfect time. Regards from Australia.
Love your builds. I made the mistake of buying luminated date wheels from AliExpress. Almost no lume. Where is the best place to buy lume date wheels like you use please.
Anyone know whats the best stainless steel case alternative for the casio tiffany blue(mtp1302pd)? Since the casio tiffany blue using ion player brass case, im looking to mod the case for a stainless steel case😊. Kindly help 🙏
Standard lasers cut straight down only so bevels / chamfers arent possible. This results in flat features opposed to the sculpted profile achieved through milling.
Curious, what movement you use and how it is adjusted. But I will also be inquiring through email. Been a subscriber for a long while now. You've come a long way. Impressive.
Just a suggestion for symmetry could you try to only put the design on 3 6 9 and 12 and leave the rest plain and make them significantly smaller than the ones with design
Liked and Sub'd. Researching for an idea I have for possessing a nicer watch for myself, as well as for an up coming adoption / citizenship of my son (soon 18). Initially thinking just nice stock watches with our last name on the case back. Good or bad, you have complicated the matter substantially,.... thanks! Lol

Noted, thank you :)
Agreed 👍🏻

Awesome. Protip use air to clean the chips away. Makes the finishing a little easier in the end. So great to see you making your own parts.
man...give it a layer of transparent black glass under the sterling silver would create some trippy effect
Yoo, this is amazing. Lovely design n nice combination. Looks even better w the PP. great job!
Have missed your videos, glad you are well and are back. You are to blame for my modding obsession!!!😆 Fantastic work, as always
I've said it before and I'll say it again. You have come so far so fast Your work is getting honed. Keep them coming! From a VERY impressed old man.
You are the GOAT! One of the biggest influences as to why I started my own modding channel and company. Always giving us something new to strive for! Amazing work! Keep it up!
Totally awesome! I’m personally into machining and watches so I was all over this! Great work as per usual!!!
So great to see you back Erick
The quality of this video is insane, one of the rare new channels I’ll happily subscribe to
Excellent! Tarnishing metals can be a look in themselves too.
Awesome video!!! Beautiful build.
Looks great and beautiful work! One question- silver over time will tarnish black did you apply a lacquer coat to prevent it?
I would say very little to none should occur - the watch is sealed with a screw down crown, caseback, and gaskets throughout so little to no exposure to the elements.
Another beautiful masterpiece 😊. CAD and C&C drilling is no joke takes allot of time and patience the more accuracy needed 👍🏿
Have you thought about building with the seiko mechaquartz? Love looking at the smooth sweep and knowing that you will get all the accuracy. Specifically have you considered making/selling a movement holder that could allow replacement of nh35?
Glad to have you back brother!
You can also use lume or ceramic infill on those markers to improve looks and readability. At least as an option.
LOVE THE JAMAICAN VIDEOS, I HAVE THE BEST LAUGH WITH THESE VIDÉOS , BLESSED NUFF RESPECT😊
Great content, I enjoy all of the machining footage.
That movement is beautiful! Which one is it?
So much love and care making this one off piece. Great work.
PS. Still loving my Bloodmoon mod.
Matt
Thanks Matt!
Stunning watch mate.
I'd wear it on a slightly darker gray rubber strap with a satin brushed foldover clasp.
This is awesome! I’m just getting into modding and your videos are a valuable resource for me. But this is on a whole other level for sure. Absolutely amazing and impressive.

This was amazing. The millinh was amazing to watch. Question - will this tarnish? How to avoid that?
Very little exposure to the elements with the screw down parts and sealed gaskets. I'd imagine very little, if any!
Really great work. I see a true craftsman here.
Hey, which CNC do you use?
I really love the ghost watch. You do amazing work.
Bro its so cool that you came up with an original dial design! Its so difficult to design a unique watch that looks good. I like it man, especially the light blue/ teal anodized.
If i could i would have you do an 18kt rose gold dial $$
I'd love to do a commission with 18kt rose gold!
This is superb mate. Well done. Can't get too nerdy for me
Amazing content .. thank you for taking the time. . have you considered taking the dial to a local jeweler. . to have it RHODIUM plated. . it will keep it from tarnishing.. .and the different finishes will not be affected.
I am curious about your machine equipment what are you using?
Wow, An awesome beautiful watch. You really do great work. Thanks for sharing your video. Many thumbs up.
If you don’t mind me asking, what case are you using? Gives me Patek Philippe Nautilus vibes.
That is insane! Well done

Excellent as always. I also like the Rubber B strap ... nice
Well done Mate ! I really like your work!
Still enjoying my Yoon Openworked. Awesome to see this ghost. Hope you get lots of sales
Glad to hear, thanks Matthew!

Impressive effort and results!
How much would it cost for something like that? It looks really nice
What are you gunna do when the silver tarnishes? It's gunna turn black with time?

Do you sell machined dial sepeteately?
Wow this is amazing, great work!
That is a gorgeous watch

Please use the order form to place a commission! lume-shot.com/yoonwatches
Just curious how you are dealing with the silver tarnishing over time.
Amazing looking piece.
That was just awesome!!!!
Masterpiece!👏👏👏
This is really impressive.
Love your builds. I made the mistake of buying luminated date wheels from AliExpress. Almost no lume. Where is the best place to buy lume date wheels like you use please.
What is the cost of one of these? I know you work off commission, but lets say i wanted the model in the silver as shown?
Please send me an email for further details!
Super interesting man. Thinking about giving it a try (on a much smaller less technical scale) with some reticulated silver and diamonds 10:34 .
anyone know where he gets his cases and bracelets?
You sir are a master!
Amazing work, thanks for sharing.
Yeah, really cool!
This kid is on top of his game 🇬🇧🇧🇩👍
Really enjoy your channel 😊
Is there any way i can make my Seiko Snxs77 more waterproof? I would love it to be waterproof down to 100m (10atm)
This is what youtube was intended to be! If there is something better on the web i haven't found it yet
Some Tritium tubes would look nice in those grooves!
Great work.
Anyone know whats the best stainless steel case alternative for the casio tiffany blue(mtp1302pd)? Since the casio tiffany blue using ion player brass case, im looking to mod the case for a stainless steel case😊. Kindly help 🙏
Beautiful work. You have talent. Veey mich enjoy yoir channel
Equipped with the tools you are one Mastercraft
Very cool vid, thanks!
Looks great man.
Would a fiber laser work better?
Standard lasers cut straight down only so bevels / chamfers arent possible. This results in flat features opposed to the sculpted profile achieved through milling.
Thats super Nice....
So glad to see a video drop! Incredible work as always!
와.. 정말 멋지네요. 대단하세요. 잘 보고 갑니다.
How much are you selling this one for?
Curious, what movement you use and how it is adjusted. But I will also be inquiring through email. Been a subscriber for a long while now. You've come a long way. Impressive.
Looking forward to it!
Yo, what about sterling silver case? :)
Very possible, just need someone willing enough to commission it :)
Nice 👍
Just a suggestion for symmetry could you try to only put the design on 3 6 9 and 12 and leave the rest plain and make them significantly smaller than the ones with design
I want a full hour or two…please. 😬
Do you sell watches?
For the finishing, the word I learned from Mark Long Island Watches was “Distressed”.
❤❤❤❤
👍
I do care about every single step carried.
Please don’t leave them out!
If anything, timestamps to skip these parts will do.

Keep the details. Everyone skips them. What it takes to make them etc. well done…

Be a nerd! Talk more about those stuff. WE WANT TO HEAR IT ALLLLLL!!!
Haha will do!
Silver is NOT a precious metal anymore. Current price is $23 oz which is nothing compared to gold which is almost £$2000 oz.
Sterling silver is considered a precious metal alloy as defined by the FTC
Subcribed jus off the fact of ur machining and I love watch making too and a machinist🫡👏🏽💪🏽
