Nice video! Easy to follow! And nice result for sure. One question though: does the crown need to be fully pushed in when measuring the gap to the case? Or in another position like the one for setting the time?
Hello, I love your mod. It is absolutely beautiful. Do you accept commission? I was looking for something exactly like this, and yours just happened to be perfect 😍
I am really flattered, thank you! Unfortunately, I don't do commissions. I suggest to get the parts using the links in the description, and watching my video and others about how to build watches, it's a nice skill to learn. You will also be very proud of the final product, so it's worth it.
I want to build my own watch for the first time but I am worried about the parts that I choose not fitting with one another. How can I ensure that they fit?
There are kits you can purchase that are curated with compatible parts. Other than that, aliexpress listings do a great job at explaining which parts will fit which. Seiko NH movements are your safe bet if you, like me, are just starting out.
Looks great! I’m looking to build one very similar to this! Just out of curiosity, what size wrists do you have? I’m just wondering if this case might be a touch too big for me.

Thank you! When measuring the crown has to be fully pushed in.

It does look better in person I must say! 6"1/4 / 16 cm is my wrist size.
hello im new to this whole custom watch scene, am i able to use any other case with the movement and face?
The dial I used is 28.5mm in diameter, so as long as you choose a case that fits that size, it should work.
Hello I am building a similar build, do you have a tutorial on how to put the gray movement spacer?
Unfortunately I don’t.
the stems of the nh72 are the same as the one of the nh35?
Yes, the stems are the same.
Hello i have a question, can i build a watch with a dial? Cause I have an idea without the dial.
You can build a skeleton watch without a dial.
@@simplewatchtalksa NH70 will work on this mod
how is the paint quality of the case?
Very good.
I have also ordered watch parts; they are little bit different, so let's finger cross for installing the second hand
Anybody else here because they didn’t know to order a grey plastic spacer? 😭
