Heather Page bc Robbie, Mark and Gary have better voices, even Howard has a better voice, Jason is a great dancer, but his voice is slightly above mediocre. Like a talented coffee shop open mic night musician.
Take That is definitely one of the most all rounded bands/groups out there. Just amongst the individual members they can sing both lead and backing vocals, dance, write and compose their own songs and even play the backing tracks/instrumental parts themselves. Even their so called invisible man Jason has a killer voice that I wish got featured more.
Jason should have got more leads to sing. Miss him. He was practically invisible on the Progress tour. They could have let him sing Flowerbed. Mark's vocals complement Jason's perfectly.

I disagree, I think he was encouraging J at that point. Gary knows J is more shy and they each have their backs. There's no arrogance at all. And the things between Robbie and Gary were put to rest a long time ago. Live and learn.

I think he never got the encouragement he deserved to try singing. Hope he comes back. Some people say he was irrelevant. But he had presence and charisma. Hard to accept Take That without Jason there.

I think what's fascinating about Jason is that, he knew he was a fantastic performer and wanted to show that to the world, but I think he never liked the business he was in. From what you heard is that even his ex-bandmates hardly see him and don't even know where he lives these days. That's the strange part for me. I understand that he doesn't want to be in the spotlight anymore, but you can't expect to have been in a band that played several nights at Wembley Stadium and then want to be completely forgotten by the public in a short time. I'm sure the Take That guys could still see each other in private without being constantly followed by the press. Ironically, Jay is also still the only one who's never been married or doesn't have kids yet. What's wrong with you ladies out there? He's a handsome and talented dude who seems to be an attentive and caring person. Find him, marry him and have babies with him 😀. He once said he wants to have a family life one day. What is he going to do for the rest of his life then?

From what I gather, in 2018, he saw Howard breifly and it is known he is living a quiet life in the Cotswold. It is a little strange for it to be one time he's going on tours at stadium's and being one of the UK's biggest singers to suddenly no one hears from him. Whatever he is doing, hope he is all good!

It hapoened on the progress tour in Manchester .when they done the last of the Progress tour in Germany , Jason said on stage this will probably be the last time you see five of us together on stage so he knew he was leaving then .
This song actually scares me because if you change the gender and the name “Christine” to my late husband’s name, I could’ve written it. (Oh, and it was my Dad’s car I stole.😈). So close to home I can barely listen to it. I know others have had this experience with certain songs. It’s almost eerie how music can touch us so deeply at times.

I never thought Progress was as good as the previous comeback tours, that was mostly about Robbie, much preferred them as four piece band.
