Watching the Better Man movie has sent me down a rabbit hole of these old videos. I was OBSESSED with this Berlin tour VHS! Robbie always a superstar 🤩
I guess you don't follow Robbie's life. Robbie was in and out of rehab in his 20s. But once he got married he has been absolutely amazing. He has 3 children now. I meant that Robbie was awarded the BRIT Icon prize in 2016. To me he is an icon. I love his songs and his singing. That's why I am here. What are YOU doing here then?

Even though Robbie was part of a band and didn't sing much at the time, when you watch this video you can tell that as soon as he was more in the spotlight, his entertainment qualities came out and in that regard he outshone the other guys. In hindsight, it's not too surprising that he became a superstar.
If you watch the documentary, Could it be Magic was mostly Robbie & a black backing singer because the rest of the group's vocal were deemed too poor. I Found Heaven which is vocally challenging is mostly (and effortlessly) Robbie too , but Gary obviously struggles with the high notes in it.
@@sarahholland2600 I only recently discovered Take That and the individual members. Totally impressed. And Robbie William's vocals are so versatile. Why wasnt he given more songs to sing while he was at Take That. His charisma and dancing is also electrifying. His version of MY WAY at his concert in 2001, was just unparalleled. I think in any band, every member if they want to - should have more vocal range opportunities. Not just the lead singer.

Pure talent. Young, energetic, looks, and the great voice. He still has a great voice. However, like the song says “ Everything Changes”. He was at the top of his career most likely at this time.
Fall in Love with them when i was 14 years old. Supported them until the End of the band First Time. Those years where the best of my life. I will always remember that time. We were young. Had no idear whats coming when we grow up. We were so secure. I made friends in that time i never saw back after they split up. Missing that Time very much.
