It is interesting to note that the 1st century Christians were hated by the Jews and the Romans. Sounds very similar to how people today think of Jehovah's Witnesses who are Christians. The point of using Jehovah's name is to make it known. The phrase "Jehovah's Witnesses" is just a title. (Ezekiel 39:7) I will make my holy name known among my people Israel, and I will not allow my holy name to be profaned any longer; and the nations will have to know that I am Jehovah, the Holy One in Israel.’

I remember my own family and others rushed to see Sam Herd after an assembly. Even though I was in the front row during his talk, after the assembly my PIMI family asked if I went to talk to him. Even as a PIMI giving them celebrity status bothered me, so I never bothered to look for him or meet him. After all in years past they used to say not to treat them like celebrities in their own literature. But I guess it's kind of imevitable since they plastered their faces all over JW broadcadting.

1. The man doesn't believe JWs enough to study anymore, but watching the GB on TV is still important.
2. The man will donate $$$ to WT for no apparent reason.

4. The man decided to attend a convention, all because he saw Sanderson. Amazing.
5. JWs should idolize the GB just like this "worldly" man did.

I think his ministry, if the story is real, is mainly a reaction to many doubts of exJW, nonJWs and even JWs who question whether these GB members go door to door in ministry.

Sanderson has quite the world travelling adventures! Running from the Russian government after attending a court case in Russia, encounters with possibly “shady” individual in Columbia. Oh wow! What an exciting life his membership is paying for as they trudge back and forth to the Kingdom Hall and stand criticized for even taking a vacation that isn’t somehow tied to JW worship or service …

So, I thought that he must have had to apply to the university as they don’t just randomly offer admittance/acceptance. Perhaps a moment of youthful rebellion? How come all Jehovah's Witnesses who get interviewed have turned down a scholarship at some point? There's another of such stories in the May 2024 JW Broadcasting. i tend to believe the story is true. there is nothing in the body language or facial expressions to suggest otherwise. and yes, were there to be trouble, there is no doubt in my mind that members of the congregation would take a b u l l e t for these men. they would in the first century as well. this isn't to say that these men are who they say they are. it simply means they have a following that are devoted to them.
Who knows if the story is true or not. It would have been more believable if it came from an independent source. As for the precedent for having bodyguards being set in the first century, I disagree. Jesus, the actual Son of God (if you believe the Bible) ended up being executed, and so did quite a few of his apostles. No one took a bullet for them.

These are men who have convinced 8 million people that they are 1) anointed by holy spirit and other JWs are not 2) have been handpicked by Jesus to rule over the lives of JWs now and to continue doing so "when" they go to heaven. Such click bait. He never says he has body guards nor does he even insinuate it. Chaka, I had such high hopes for you and your content in the beginning. Now you are just bitter and angry. You find a flaw and analyze and disect every sentence and every word now. Often times taking it out of context and exaggerating. I'm not on their side nor do I defend them, but you are no longer a voice of reason. Very sad. Many of the things you say in videos are even inaccurate now. Tell us where he says he has bodyguards? Where? Maybe I missed it. He says the brothers he was with got in between him and the car. Wouldn't you do the same thing if you where with someone? He never says bodyguards. You pick them apart for not speaking truth and yet you do the same thing time and again.. Get back to focusing on what is important.
I feel like I need to respond to this. You make very strong accusations with no evidence. Show me things that I have said that are inaccurate. Also, what is your basis for saying that I am bitter and angry? I suggest that making such strong suggestions with no single piece of evidence is extremely malicious, and that's me putting it very mildly.
With regards to your defence of Sanderson on the question of having bodyguards: I don't know if you still are or have been a Jehovah's Witness. If you have been a Witness my question to you is When you went door knocking, did you have people on the lookout for dangerous people trying to attack you and standing between you and these potential attackers? It is in fact an open secret that the Governing Body do have a security detail when they are at events like conventions etc. It's just that Sanderson in this case happens to openly brag about it.
You strike me as one of those people in this community who is just looking to criticize and discredit activists at any given opportunity. As I have said on several occasions now, I am open to engaging in constructive criticism that is based on facts and evidence, and not just malicious personal attacks like this one. I'm even open to debating you on my channel regarding what you say are inaccuracies in my content, provided you are respectful and desist from malicious name-calling and character assassination.
It’s not click bait. Sanderson sees himself as a king with the Lord of this spiritual paradise or system of things. And is not humble about the fact that publishers and pioneers are willing to put themselves in harms way for him. He brags about being recognized by non believers of watchtowers televangelism and then about the coins given him by this passerby. There are serious problems there. And finally, as self proclaimed kings at the table with Christ, their words and talks need to be scrutinized.
