We survived another week on the roads. Well done lads
I got a puncture from hitting a pot hole. That kind of pissed me off, but considering the condition of the roads I better get used to the fact that it's not going to be the last one..
Just the lads hey.
Only just…for now

4:42 Gonna need way way more context for this one o_o
Yes.
Definitely need context, there's a whole separate video right there.
@*RainbowBae* ~~ sounds like he was ! Rammed their car ! xoxox
22:44 exactly, make the offender back up - good job. sick of seeing people letting the offenders get away with it by letting them continue.
Which of course makes them more entitled to keep doing it and getting away with it and same for the last video too! 🤬
@emmaburley5374 same with almost every video in these compilations. Should just have the accident and teach them a lesson. Unfortunately the DCer always avoids them
Usually I agree, but common sense still needs to be applied to avoid a crash
@@emmaburley5374 They should have made the p plater go all the way back to the correct lane!
"And he's going up there!" - yes, because you LET him. I wouldn't have.
4:51 It's hilarious how the driver just sounds mildly annoyed with having his window smashed in.
@Jesus Christ Somewhere in Brisbane according to the GPS
He did ram their car ! xoxox
@6:19 when you park you brain on the couch at home but you should have it with you when driving. Clearly the closing rate @6:22 was significant, I was waiting for the brakes to be applied but then I realised there was no brain there to interpret those signals.
Another meth head
just to add on he was doing 100 in a 60
Probably he had non to begin with. He dashcam owner went home and probably thought the white SUV wronged him, not the other way around, so uploaded this video clip to prove how idiot he is. SMH.
I am at a loss why someone would upload a clip like this.
odds are they skimped on replacing the brake disks
23:30 ffs, force them to go back, and go the correct way!
Bet they take that shortcut everyday
HERE'S ONE that's pissing me off at the moment. You're on a suburban street and the oncoming cars start using half of your lane because of parked cars on their side. Then, if they think you're not getting over far enough for their liking, they honk you! WTF!? Plus there's almost always room for a decent driver to fit their vehicle on their side without crossing the center line.
Just let them have the road too. Stop preventing them.
Solution, drive something bigger, or nastier. Chrome bumpers and daggy paint scares away most.
Not in my area, for many of the smaller streets you are not getting past a parked car without part (about half) of your car crossing onto the other side
An effective way of dealing with that situation in small suburban streets is to simply stay in your lane. If an oncoming car selfishly comes across to your side, then just stop and sit there. If they are in such a hurry, they will have little choice but to back up or get out of the way. If you are legally on your side of the road, you have every right to simply sit there and wait it out for as long as it takes. Try it. You will be surprised how well it works. Even better if you have a dashcam and point it out to them.
Had that exact situation earlier today near Mt Coot-Tha. There was more than enough room for three cars wide, yet this person wanted the middle of the road. I slowed right down but knew I had the space and attempted. Instead of moving over to use the 2 metres of space he had to let us both pass safely, he continued on the same line, at speed, resulting in a near miss and stuck his hand over the steering wheel pointed at me in a way I could only describe as an attempted force choke through his windshield. I wish I had a dashcam so I could document the weird shit I see daily.
4:42 Bit weird the dashcammer only wanted us to see this part of the video, despite being supposedly rammed by the other driver.
yep thought exactly the same thing. must have been something equally as scummy if he didn't want to show it.
I hate lack of transparency in some videos, and in this case, both before information/footage, plus update of what happened once police were involved. it has been a month if DC time is correct.
@@jodie01 it is the gates to the housing estate. If they had the intention to ambush him they wait there because it is the only way in or out.
@ 13:29 that would be an excellent place to have a Red Light Camera.
i watch these vids everytime expecting stupid people but am still surprised at the amount of people who dont know basic road rules or etiquette
its like looking in an upside down mirror.
from many of these vids seems to be a sickness that strikes many when they buy a dashcam
Yep you are right but the thing is most of these half wits are given their licience by so called driver trainers and instructers that are not fit to be handing out these permits its evident enough when you see what goes on on our roads, its either that or half the people are driving around drunk or without a licience and there is not enough police around to police the problem.
Etiquette is French for Stuff You in Australia.
As someone who has had their fair share of MVAs and clocked up approx 1,000,000 Kms on Australian roads what Ive have learned is -
1. DON'T TAILGATE
2. DONT Be In A HURRY
3. Drive To The ROAD CONDITIONS
4. Drive To Your Own CAPABILITIES
5. Turn OFF Your PHONE If You Don't Have BT Or HANDS FREE.
And
6. DON'T Be That C.U.NEXT.TUESDAY.
Rule 1: Pay Attention
Rule 2: Don't try to occupy the same space as someone else
Rule 3: Don't be an Arsehole
Thank you to the person who stopped and helped the ducks. As to the two morons who couldn’t have been bothered to help a wombat get too the other side of the dark road and instead thought it was funny to just leave him standing there exposed to be hit by the next car, well I have a few thoughts,,,,,,,
I was thinking, " why doesn't someone get out and shoo them away"...then it happened lol
So you expect them to stop the car in what's obviously a higher speed area on a dark corner, get out of the car and move him off the road? With the potential of them being hit, or another car smashing into the back of theirs? Nah. Animal lives aren't worth near as much as a humans. The ducks was a completely different story. Broad daylight, not a blind dark corner, and clearly in a lower speed area that was straight. The car on the other side had stopped before she even got out to move them
you know what that's an excellent idea, i will immediately hop out of the vehicle in the middle of a blind curve on a pitch black country road to move some wombat who's dumb ass would get killed sooner or later doing the same thing. I mean what could possibly go wrong?
Wombats are incredibly tough and can be quite vicious. You do not go up to a wombat and shoo it away, unless you want a trip to emergency. That ball of fur is solid muscle.
Exactly my thoughts dumb bitch kept calling him a C U Next Tuesday and I just thought what a feral thing she must be !
My favourite part of driving in Sydney is when someone does something blatantly illegal, risks the life of you and your passengers, makes you hit the brakes so hard you wonder if you've put a hole in the firewall, and then they honk back at you
22:53 jee I wonder how that bloke ended up in a wheelchair /S

@@peterb5179 It's a fine line between quadie and deadie.... He seems to be way over the wrong side if he's aiming for the quadi's total disability pension.

6:20 gotta love the whole nearly 100 in a 60 zone lol🤣
My personal best for a 60 zone is 89 ... on a push bike. The funniest part is that the other road users (all driving cars and who all knew about the speed trap at the bottom of the hill) all sped up to overtake the cyclist and would have lost their licenses if the camera car was parked there like it usually was 🤣
6:28 i know the car turning was in the wrong there, but that's also a 60 zone.. lol
Meth head living in a dream
He was too busy on his phone changing the song to notice
Yeah, DC driver is an idiot and shouldn't have a licence. 37km/h over the limit and very slow to react to a car that was clearly braking.
Actually no, insurance and liability wise DC is 100% responsible for clearly not paying attention to what's going on in front of them and blindly colliding into the back of a statinary car. The red car and what they are doing up ahead is irrelevant.
I am not sure if the White SUV was in the wrong. The car turning slowed down as the two road merged together and the car in front of his was making a turn across the opposite road. It was the dashcam owner who is in the wrong for speeding.
13:06 That guy dropped a few cones on his way home , for sure!
And not the mandated hi vis types
😅😅😅😅😅😅
He made a danger on the road. Someone should put up some traffic cones.
@@wizrom3046 maybe offer some maccas soft serves as incentive to slow down
Haha, was wondering whether it was the stoner one with the Ute driving all over the road, then was this, you got me!
as a p plater, i watch these to learn (idk if thats embarrassing x) i definitely make mistakes on the road. hoping to improve
If you learn from these vids, you'll survive longer.
Same reason I watch them - and I've been fully licenced for a while. It helps to know what other idiots can do
Not embarrassing at all. Everyone has to go through the leaning process and I'm glad you're making an effort. I wish more drivers would. Videos like this are valuable for learning what NOT to do - and for learning about what some idiots DO do.
Good on you, learning is not an embarrassment, it's a skill, even at 71 I learn something every week, wish I learned it 50 yrs ago. Here's is my tip, I'd rather have 40 tonnes in front of me than behind me (semi's, B-Doubles) if you're in their braking zone, good luck with that
Willing to learn at all already puts you above 80% of the drivers.

8:16 Thank you for your compassion and patience (both the lady moving the ducks on and the drivers in the opposite direction waiting). 👍
Our local ducklings got sqished by an impatient a$$h0le who thought saving a couple of minutes of his precious time was way more important than the lives of the ducklings. Many locals were dissapointed, and the ducklings parents stayed with the bodies for most of the day. Very sad. ☹️
@Why not? What an a$$h0le!
I've stepped in things that have more of a right to life than that piece of crap.
Sorry you had to see that. ☹️
My brother slowed for ducks on the motorway and someone hit his car, police arrived and charged him with stopping on the motorway.
@Karlin Somers Yes, unless there is an emergency or your car breaks down, stopping on motorways is usually prohibited for everyones safety. The best you can do in that situation is to keep an eye out and change lanes to go around them.
But I was referring to our local ducks who were in a quiet residential street at the time.

Not sure why the DC would want to share this clip with anyone. Wondered if they shared it with the police and insurance company as freely
It's easy to see the main cause of accidents:
1) Inattention to surroundings and intentions
2) general incompetence
3) arrogance/impatience
4) perhaps alcohol, drugs, medical deficiencies contributing to the the above.
Maybe one day, better driver selection and education will reduce this.
Maybe lack of grey matter between the ears???

In unskilled drivers, Australia's up there with the best of them.
@@johnt.848 I think this has been proven statistically. Something like 80% of drivers claim to be "an above average driver" in surveys.
Only because the state government's have made it easy for people to get their license as they are scared of immigrants who can't read, speak or write English suing them if they can't get it.
I once read an article in a car magazine where the journo said that watching most Aussies drive is like watching a bunch of 5-year-old kids playing footy. They all just seem to mass around whoever has the ball, hoping that they might eventually get possession of it - with the result that they all just run aimlessly around the field.
A letter to the editor in the next edition of the magazine said something like, "Forget about five year olds playing footy - when compared to the rest of the world, Australian drivers haven't even learned to walk yet!" Which is completely true.
Up there with the worst of them, more like it.

Even if it is, the lane doesn't end and the car could have been going straight ahead for all we knew, as he didn't indicate until he was already starting to merge. no-one is a mind reader.
@@Jamoisemost people don’t indicate at zip merges (even though they should). Cam car should have been ready for that.
@@Jamoise Watch the road markings. The DC is at fault here. The lane markings between the DC and Merc ends, indicating a zip merge, which the DC should have given way to the Merc who was ahead. Shortly after the merge, a new lane appears on the right.
"You have to give way . . . to the vehicle in front" (You left out the important bit)
Was confused by the Cammer horn, it looked like a zip merge so the car in front has right of way.

most of these videos boil down to
"I have a dashcam
i need not drive defensively,
if somebody does something unexpected I can just honk and issue some cursing and swearing"
And it seems to me that a lot of Australian roads have been poorly designed for sensible ergonomics and safety..eg the design allows driver mistakes in the road instead of designing the road so drivers are naturally guided in an obvious way and mistakes can only happen if you intentionally force something the wrong way
Why don't you go out and instruct new drivers instead of whinging about it on you tube?
I agree with most of that, can I ask though where you think the roads aren’t engineered safely?
Australia’s roads are typically engineered to a maximum safe speed of 10 over the posted speed limit, and the intersections etc are stingingly regimented, usually in accordance with Austroads Guide to Road Design or something very similar (at least those built in the past 50/60 years or so)
And ignore Taj, the level of self awareness you need to complain online about someone else supposedly (not really) complaining about something online is incredibly low and doesn’t warrant a response.

@@NunamedDragon Because the OP got the time stamp wrong. He/she is referring to the incident at 4:42
4:53 - You turned the wrong direction, for someone clearly being assaulted by two weapon-wielding individuals who are clearly intent on causing physical harm and/or property damage.
20:51 - Crikey, Granny Dundee, time to hang up the keys and start taking a Kanga-Uber!
6:24 He's up all night to get lucky.
6:20 Why do people keep dobbing themselves in?
Love that the song playing is "Get Lucky".
I think as part of the punishment for people that do these types of things is their plates are given to police and then the police get to crush their vehicles. Leaving them stuck with their loan payments. As well as other hefty fines and license suspension/banning. There should also be something put on their driving record that car salesmaen, and insurance companies can see that says they are a dangerous driver.
8:26 Thank you kind woman ❤❤❤ Australian Wood Ducks are the best ❤
Meanwhile NZ metal geese are just nuts
6 cars running a running a red, oh yeah, no worries! 13:46
I always look forward to this videos
Impatience plays a big part of accidents
It’s a concern now the increase in drivers shortcutting roundabouts, overtaking in the left service lanes and I couldn’t believe in this video that at least five vehicles in a row deliberately ignored a red light to get on to the motorway turning right - this is unfortunately an outcome as the capital city populations in Australia grow bringing more traffic and more impatient drivers - unless it’s an emergency there is no justification to run red lights and it can and does result with an unplanned emergency of its own when lives are threatened or lost - when I travel from my quiet country town I park securely and use public transport to avoid these uncaring drivers.
Don't blame the motorcyclist in the first clip for being pissed off with the Toyota driver for tailgating him at those speeds!
I've seen what can happen when a car's bumper contacts a bike's rear-wheel on the move!
MC should be charged with criminal damage
Oh... Is that what was going on... Yeah, I get pissed off at tailgaters when I'm in a car. I can only imagine what it's like on a motorbike.
