Absolutely loved seeing the bees going about their business. The flower is really beautiful reminding me of Queen of the Night. I can only imagine what the plant would be like in full bloom. Thanks for sharing.

This reminded me so much of the Queen of the Night. It’s so beautiful. I love bees!!!! 🐝 They are the reason for the flower becoming a fruit. They are none aggressive when pollinating. Bees only sting when threatened or when you get too close to their hive. You are killing me with your garden fear at night. Lol!!! I spend so much time in my yard at night, I hear all kinds of things crawling around. It’s all a matter of getting used to. You have nothing to worry about. Night time in the garden for me is so relaxing and serine. Maybe add some bistro lights in your Vanda area to lighten it up a bit at night. It will create a beautiful environment and very cozy. I don’t like it when it’s pitch black. A little bit of a glow in the garden makes a huge difference. 🤗

You are right about the mold/mildew forming in the spent bloom, Blanca. Especially if it’s really humid. I wouldn’t remove the whole flower, just the the stigma. It looks like a long noodle in the center of the flower. Pull that out and it should prevent rot from setting into the cactus.

Just found out your channel by searching tree mounting orchids...
I like how you beautifully mounted phelenopsis orchids to tree(your about 3 years old video)
    I have one request...
Can you please make video on that mounted phelenopsis orchid ?
And a dedicated video of all the orchids which is directly mounted to tree...

I was beyond excited 💕💕 so beautiful in person and the bees the morning after were so amazing. One was pulling on the string of pollen. They would fly away with their hands full. The sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. If my kids were home and younger I would of loved for them to see how amazing that was. That’s the red dragon fruit tree.

Beautiful. People here on the island stay awake to collect the semen to help propagate the flower into fruit. If you have bees or bats they do the work for you. Amazing creation of God
