Here is what I think should've been added to the battle system. As you train with Raichu, Pignite, Dewott, and Servine, when maxed out the three hit combo can become a five hit combo and moves can even evolve into stronger moves, such as: Pikachu's Thunderbolt becomes Thunder Oshawott's Water Gun becomes Hydro Pump Snivy's Leaf Blade becomes Power Whip Tepig's Flamethrower becomes Fire Blast This is similar to how Kirby's abilities could evolve in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Or even the four playable Pokemon can learn more than two moves(up to four) and you can change amongst them outside of battle much like with artes in the Tales of games or moves in Pokemon Legends Arceus and SV. For example: Pikachu: Thunderbolt, Volt Tackle, Iron Tail, Brick Break, Quick Attack(used for offense or for evading), Thunder Wave Oshawott: Water Gun, Ice Beam, Razor Shell, X-Scissor, Surf, Swords Dance, Sacred Sword Snivy: Vine Whip, Leaf Tornado, Coil, Leaf Blade, Frenzy Plant, Leech Seed Tepig: Flamethrower, Flare Blitz, Head Smash, Rollout, Smog, Heat Crash, etc (I tried to make their moves not mach the main type of the other party members for balancing reasons, such as Snivy being able to learn Aqua Tail) The battle system could've even had a evading or counter button much like in Devil May Cry or in Smash Bros. The bosses such as Cofagrigus, Darkrai, and Zekrom could've had a rage mode, which would cause them to change to a more difficult attack pattern and hit harder when at a certain amount of HP. The Pokemon friend assist feature could've given the player a small passive buff when selected instead of only showing up when the player is having trouble with a battle, such as if you choose Seismatoad. After befriending him, he grants the player a 5% resistance to poison type attacks. Berries could've been battle items that could only be used once per battle, such as a purple berry(the ones that Munchlax likes) could cause an opponent to be temporarily poisoned. One last thing. The four playable Pokemon could have unique abilities to them in battle. For example: Pikachu: Can temporarily raise his speed if he goes long enough without taking a hit. Oshawott: Can use his scallchop to block attacks. Snivy: Can cause opponents to move slower for a limited amount of time. Tepig: Can stun opponents if he links a certain number of attacks. Though the opponent will take longer and longer to become stunned again with each successful stun. That is some of my ideas for bettering Pokepark 2: Wonders Beyond's battle system. Thank you for reading this long comment and what do you all think of these ideas?
I wish they experimented more with this combat style in these spinoffs.
There is a fuckton of potential here.
Real. Could you imagine Pokémon with a Tales battle system?

Wouldn't flying type partners be better in the first matches since it starts with two fighting types?
Never let Team Rocket Steal the game!😡
Así deberian de ser las batallas Pokémon en la actualidad pero nos dan la misma muñeca con diferente sombrero.
