I got to love how each of the 3 Super-Ancient Legendary Pokémon had an appearance in their 'own respective' movies.
Groudon for Jirachi, Wish Maker,
Kyogre for Ranger and the Temple of the Sea,
And Rayquaza for Destiny Deoxys.
(Unrelated note about the 'Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys | Rayquaza Battles Deoxys Clones' video, it was automatically turned to be 'For Kids'.
What is YT Kids even for, right?)
I love Kyogre's just minding his own business for most of the movie until Manaphy commands him to MURDER the villain.

I’m just getting my head around how Manaphy commanded an absolute god of a Pokemon so easily. At least he wasn’t in his primal form
@@spark6669 My head canons is that for Kyogre, any pokemon that can hit Groudon super effectively with stab damage is it's friend.
Lugia basically did the same thing in the 2nd movie, use Hyper Beam to murder the villain.

@@whodoesntlovehorror Yes there are. In the movie Giratina and the sky warrior, near the end Shaymin reunites with her friends which are an entire flock of Shaymin. And in the Pokemon Master quest episode: The mystery is history, a baby Lugia named 'Silver' appears along it's mother Lugia and in the episode Richie ( Who was there. ) is puzzled on how Ash knows about Lugia and Ash literally says "Yeah we met one back in the Orange islands." referring to the second movie. Not only does that confirm that the second movie is canon to the show but, it also confirms that there's more than one Lugia because the one from the episode was a lot smaller than the one from the movie. You may not like it, but in the show there are multiples of almost every legendary Pokemon and I really like that.

I think 🤔 that Kyogre is the same as the one during the Team Aqua and Magma crisis.

The only exceptions would be Giratina, Palkia, Dialga and Ho-Oh (maybe Ho-Oh, I don't know).

I love the context of hyper beam. In the game, it takes a turn to cool down when, in reality, there's nothing left to hit you once you've fired it. It's basically pokemon's answer to godzilla's atomic breath.

It's nice that Kyogre has a friend (Manaphy). Groudon could learn a thing or two.
It is rather peaceful, when it’s not fighting Groudon.

People forgot that (based on their mythological inspirations) Groudon saved Humans from Drowning when Kyogre raised the sea. Now, they're fighting right over an inactive Vulcan, Groudon could easily activate it, make the small amount of sea under Kyogre to Boil, or even evaporate, but there are people living there. Kyogre is unable to sink that area due to Groudon. Conclusion: Groudon could win any moment, but he just won't harm humans.
@@rowsaurus Groundon also knows Humans need the sea to live so it refuses to outright boil the sea because it would end the life of marine animals and plants that humans feed off of.
Kyogre on the other hand, does not give a butt and would drown freshwater Pokemon and humans just to murk Groundon.

But Kyogre is THE sea so he's better to be in the movie
it's based on hoeen region so it would make more sense if kyogre if the one who showed up. the lugia we know is on johto(?) or kanto region.

I love Kyogre. It's such an awesome legendary right back when I first played Pokemon Sapphire. I especially loved the synergy between it and Manaphy. Almost like Manaphy's the prince and Kyogre's the king.

What i loved about that scene when it first came out to now is that kyogre is the shaper of the oceans, it comands the ocean, its the god of the sea, arceus gave it that job basically, but even he knows the importance of the prince when called to help,

Archie was connected to Kyogre thru the orb and May and Brock distracted Archie, in turn distracting Kyogre and Groudon hit him with a Solarbeam but that didn't defeat Kyogre lmao. He instantly saved Ash and Pikachu right after tanking a Solarbeam

Its weird how kyogre tried to blend with other water pokemon, and yet those pokemon arent reacting to kyogre, its like kyogre is just normal pokemon
Kinda like Celebi around pokemon in the forests- to them its just another guy living in the neighbourhood-I mean in Arceus movie, they didn't react any differently when they saw a god laying in the ground after saving them, in fact they tried to keep said god warm. They've also been around longer than most of them or regular humans since they created the enviroment so they're used to them

I believe prior to the Diamond and Pearl movies, almost none of the movies focus on the box Legendary. Kyogure is the closest one to being the focus in the movie. (The main pokemon is Manaphy)
