Ingenious design! I wish I could use something like that for moving sand & portland cement from a low "hopper" area up to a discharge above the mixer. It's not fun lifting 50lbs to 80lbs up to chest level in a spinning mixer. I'd rather dump it in a knee high hopper. But...with this deliver method, there would be so much portland in the air! So, I'm looking for a screw conveyor. Really cool design for dust-free product moving though. Bravo!
Super invention! I just wanted to buy a classic grain conveyor, but I changed my mind after seeing your clip. I own a Stihl BR 800C, maybe I can transport the same quantity as the spiral conveyor.
What HP shop vac would work to move 1 to 2 tons of grain without blowing the motor? I will be acquiring a small grain bin and will need to move the grain from the huge bulk bags to the bin.
Imagine running a can opener around a can but only halfway, then carefully bend the cut loose part outward from the can until the lip is 90 degrees from normal flat position. Open and remove the other end of the can completely.
Yes there is s baffle made from a soup can that confines the air to the bottom half of the tube just prior to the corn inlet. It makes a low pressure area at the corn inlet. Without a baffle the corn just blows out the bucket
Are there any problems with static building up in the pipe? With all the friction from the air and grain moving through the pipe I'd expect a static charge to build up. Is it grounded in any way?
Man, it not only transferred, but it even blew out some of the dust and fines! Great design!
I built one similar and it works great! I’m handicapped and couldn’t load my feeders without it.
This is awesome, I want to try making something like this for moving leaves

That's freakin awesome my friend!!!

What size is pipe? Most other videos show a 4" line, why 4 as opposed to 3"?
Love the concept.
That's very beautiful amigo u are a very smart man

Will you please describe the baffle? Is it just a hole in the can? What size? Thanks!

Do you have a baffle in pipe where corn feeds in or does it drop straight in

Do you mind if I call you: "Horatio Cornblower"?

Haven't had any static problems yet.
@@brianschroder1393 Thanks
A bouncy castle blower will be much cheaper than running out a $600 Stihl...
but that would require a generator....
And a bounce house blower doesn't put out enough pressure.
What power is that blower?
We've tried small gas powered units up through large Stihl BR550 backpack units, they all work fine. It doesn't take much power to move the corn.
So inspirative
How many pounds per minute of corn will it transfer?
About 40 lbs per minute.
I''ll try for corn thresr..❤❤
