This means it doesn't spread to healthy leaves/leaf parts, right❓
As it looked to me, is this only sprayed 💦 on the top and side of the leaves and not on the top and bottom like it normally does when wiping❓
What about fertilizing between treatments❓
Can you continue to do this normally and can you use the organic fertilizer that you normally use, a specific one that supports the process or just dip/water❓
Does this also work with hybrids, i.e. simply propagated orchids bought in the store that are infested with food moths (unfortunately this happened to me, but I was extremely unsure, especially about the organic fertilizer, so I only supplied them with water so that I could I didn't "feed" them and I didn't know how to help myself, I'd never heard of anything like that and I happened to read somewhere that they have such an environment etc. that they have in the substrate for reproduction in orchids (specifically named with 2 other environments).
The affected orchid itself looked and still looks healthy, but now, after a very long time, even since I haven't seen anything else, they didn't have any food moths sticking to a special adhesive part to stick in on the edge, but they were flying around in my room, even though there was no food or anything else attractive there, I even bought all the other orchids extra special organic ones used fertilizer, which also gives off the smell that they are told to avoid everywhere, which either helped or they simply don't affect other orchids.
A new leaf is now finally growing, but to be on the safe side, I should still check the roots and use new substrate 🤔 or, if the current one still looks good or normal, disinfect it with turmeric, ginger, garlic, cinnamon or something else (at the same time fertilizer 😉) and reuse the substrate without worry, which was not a problem in certain situations, unless of course it is already visibly ripe for something new in purchased or self-potted orchids, i.e. about 1½ years old❓
In the event that something like this were to happen again, which is very unlikely but not impossible (as you can see, food moths can somehow infect orchids, except that when you buy hybrids they are not visible in the substrate in their protective film), what is it possible to get rid of these annoying, annoying and very quickly multiplying food moths as quickly as possible and the orchid stops growing until it is finally completely free of them, like mine now after months❓
