Maybe we should get an option to turn down a recruit after offering a scholarship - sometimes they're worse than existing players so an option to revoke an offer would be cool Could even be balanced by some system where other recruits take notice and distrust your school or the CBAA could threaten future scholarships / fine you
Picked up the game this week and have been really enjoying it - this guide has helped me understand recruiting much better, and it seems like there's already been some updates around clarity that are super helpful. My only piece of feedback (and maybe you've explored it) is that the "auto recruit" button could use a confirmation check like the "advance week" has. I really enjoy taking the time to dig through the recruits and identify potential targets, but I've bumped my controller or tapped the trigger accidentally and lost the week's pitches and got commitments and replacements I didn't want... A skill issue on my end, but it'd be a helpful shift if possible! Looking forward to continuing to dig in and enjoying the game
I'd like to see an improvement to the roster screen or a different/better way of looking at the roster. It's a bit crammed in there. Not sure how yet but I'll think of something.
The colors are a bit confusing. I feel like green = best, red = worst, and white = neutral. I'm curious if there are plans to add mid-season recruiting and redshirting. Those seem like key features to add to dynasty. Enjoying the game so far though.
I agree. White should mean unknown or something similar. If that's not relevant, then white shouldn't be needed and stick to the same color scale used everywhere else
Such a great game, best sport game I've played in years. A dynasty overall deep-dive would be nice or some kind of "tutorial" to show how most features work, keep the good work!
having white as the lowest and red and orange higher is confusing for sure! I believe it should be red as worst - /Orange/yellow/white/purple/green - red always means bad :p Good video - Hope people pick this up. I started with the North dakota team that is one of the worst. Trying to help me tide over until mid july so I can be a sheep and play online / offline dynasty on the monopolies game ;) and yes absolutely, a sort by interest as a low tier school is NECESSARY :) Also, a player doing well through out a season, does that boost their chances of upgrading in the off season or is that just random?
imo, no one should be shamed for enjoying a sports video game. if you choose to play EA's CFB or Madden, that's your decision. we need options and supporting this game gets us there. there are soft traits (leadership, greed, work ethic, etc) that calculate what happens to a player between season (the Spring Training button you hit in off-season). I'm not sure if the player's season stats go into that metric, but I do know the soft attributes factor in.
@@bigDunited Yea idc at all I was just poking fun at javo ;) NCAA 25 is going to rule simply for the fact that its a modern NCAA game with dynasty. Now if they really DID do all the things they have talked about and it isn't a madden clone? Even better... I'd still play it if it was. Madden has become stale especially as an offline enjoyer, it's really bad.. But NCAA is NCAA :)
even if you Control All Teams, you can still let the CPU make the decisions. during Transfer Portal, even if you're controlling the team there's still a button to let the CPU decide. So, let's say you and 49 of your closest friends control 50 of the teams. you just make the CPU decide for the remaining 14 teams.
I been using the coach mode playing dynasty and it's been so much fun. The cpu runs the plays great. Hopefully in the future you can have some pre snap control for audibles and flipping the play etc. Can't wait for future updates to the dynasty to keep it fun. Love the game! Thanks! @mrkingjavo
Official logos, uniforms, and player/coach likeness require licensing rights which are probably cost prohibitive for a solo dev. This is still an amazing game.
I'm not sure if I'm understanding how the "bust or gem" works? Why would "bust or gem" show up at all in the recruiting process? Wouldn't you want that to show up some time down the line? You should have implemented my Fixed Player Ratings system. It would revolutionize football video gaming! Maybe you can implement it in Legend Bowl 2.

Honestly if you just make a help screen linking facilities to what pitches they help with that would be great

When is this coming to consoles like Xbox one and will we be able to get real college teams like logos uniforms coaches etc

If console happens, it will likely be similar to Legend Bowl. No user mods, which means no real teams or logos.
No scouting or even prospect list during the year seems like a huge miss.
