Hello 👋from New York You found some amazing finds that Brown jar with the screwtop lid that's a tobacco jar that's a nice find Thank you for bringing me along with you I can't wait to see what you find next 😊
Now that's quite the haul of ballast bottles. How many of them had a blob top ? Just love the ornamental piece of iron. Enjoyed the dig as always & send our best regards to you & family.
@@oldwoodentrunkadventures Usually the blob top ballast & torpedo bottles we find here are older than the others. Hopefully you may find some embossed ones in the future. Most of the time the ones we find are mineral water. Take care !
roughly how old are these round bottom bottles i can not find time periods for mine anywhere? my old trash dump is from a pre revolutionary war British fort in Ohio, have found awesome finds👍
Hey there sorry for the delayed response but the round bottoms are likely Ross’s Orange Soda Belfast Ireland. Early bottles are embossed but the later ones had paper labels estimated 1900’s-1920’s

You have found the round bottles before in a mass dig wow I wonder why so many in one area
♥️❤️👍🗝️
Someone must have really liked whatever was inside. Likely ginger ale or mineral water
At least they weren't all crown tops.
That would not have been nearly as fun haha 😂 We do find a lot of them with crown tops in this dump.
They all look great to me. 8:41
Thanks Darla!!

Thank you 🙏 only 3 had the blob top. Very strange as I haven’t seen those the whole year we have been on this spot.

Is the iron piece a fence stake topper or a end piece for a curtain rod or tie back.
Yeah I think It’s likely part of an old Victorian iron fence
ah...but what are you going to do with all of those......
That is a good question lol 😂
