Australia. Traen 4 modelos, el que me interesa parece igual al de este video. Es techo bajo y corto, caja automatica, motor 2.8. Hice scan del folleto, pero no pude adjuntarlo aqui, se los envio al mail. Ese modelo aqui lo llaman L1H1, es furgon sin ventanas laterales ni asientos.

Whats the difference between the hiace and the proace?
Proace is a variant of the Hiace sold in Japan. Japan has many more variants such as Regius which are not available in Australia

best part of 70000 for conversion if you want bits and pieces like the (necessary) long range tank, (because they drink more fuel than a landcruiser v8), body protection /snatch points , maybe winch then add the base van $63000 = 133000. Then ad 45 k for a camper conversion, some super expensive insurance and you got yourself a 180k hiace . that drinks like a sailor and isnt as capable as a 40k mitsubishi canter or isuzu 4x4/ troopy etc
The conversion price is BS. These guys cant give it a lift and make the front wheels spin for much less than the price as a whole brand new hiace van? If it wasnt for PC vehicle modification laws protecting their business and limiting innovation from individuals, this could be done for 15-20k by someone with skills...Talk about inefficient and overpriced, but hey if you have nothting better to do with your money.. The'll take it from you. Good luck with a non ladder chassis van surviving too much rough stuff though. Rental companies who have these have told me they dont really take much of a beating. things like radiator mounts and a whole heap of other stuff are not changed from the base model that is intended as a tarmac vehicle and tend to be fairly delicate in the real world offroad use
