Great quality video in good content, just what i was looking for about these boots. I see don't have many videos but with the sound qulaity and recording quality you should keep them up. Cheers Mike
I wish I'd have done more research before I bought my Tech 7 NOT drystar boots. Quite literally the first thing I did was walk out into ankle deep water and soaked my feet for the rest of the day. In regard to the squeek, yeah, drove me nuts until I sprayed a graphite lube into the areas where the material slides against each other (which is everywhere). I'm going to get the Drystar but man, what a painful (to my wallet) lesson.
I have the drystar one and after 3 days riding offroad (flasks, rain, etc…) my feet were soaking wet. I’m very desapointed about those boots. My Sidi adventure did much much better
Great review! I'm really considering these boots but I'm not sure how sensitive your gear shifting would be with them on. Do you get a feel for the lever? Do you need to adjust it?
I didn’t need to adjust the gear lever on my GSA or the HP2. For offroad boots, I find them not too bulky under the gear lever, particularly compared to some other brands.
@@allwedoisbraaap8448 Thanks for the info! I've ordered the boots locally and it looks like they won't arrive until March or April, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they actually show up! I had a couple of minor lower leg injuries last year and really need a solid pair of boots!
I do find that my feet are a little damp if it’s a hot day and the riding has been hard. For more regular riding in more average conditions, it’s far less of an issue. Hope that helps 🤙🏻
If foot sweat or hot weather riding is an issue, make sure your boot is slightly big (or wear extremely thin socks) so you have plenty of room for airflow, and leave a couple fingers of space at top of your boot (ie, don't buckle them tight). A big mistake folks make is wearing a snug boot, and their feet overheat. (Having a little room in your boot does not make them less protective or impact your foot control. You'll see.)
thanks for such fake sponsored reviews I bought this boots and they sucks in wet condition. Even riding through small puddles made them leak. Waste of money.
I took a little waterproof grease and the end of a zip tie and just lightly greased all around the pivot hinges.... boom no more squeaking!!!

Thanks Mike! Really glad you liked the video and appreciated the sound and recording quality 🤙🏻
How is this boot suited to wide feet? Is the toe box wide and tall like the Toucan? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately my feet sweat inside this boots even in cold days, I can only imagine what will be like in summer.....gore-tex is way, way more better.
Isn't wearing the boots out on your pants going to let rain drip in them?
Thanks for the video
Can they be worn under the pan leg?
Thanks for the review; I've ordered a pair! What pants are you wearing... They look like a great match!
The pants are Moskomoto woodsman. Have your boots arrived? How are you getting on with them?

Great video. How do you find them for walking about? Looking at them for adventure bike riding
🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍😁
Suprisingly comfortable, if a little squeaky!
@@allwedoisbraaap8448 braaap is all i do... 😄👍
Thank you. Are your socks wet whit sweat after a day riding? Breath is a must for me.
