Hi Mary. Glad you like the gift card holder. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing.😍
Manny’s awesome ❤What a guy😎
Hi Tina. Manny is a lot of fun and very supportive. Happy sewing. 😍
Great tutorial and I loved the cameraman helping you out! Fun to watch!
Also - love the fabric choice.
Perfect for my daughter to hand out her husbands business cards! Thank you once again for a great tutorial 😊
that's where i got mine i love them
Hi Juanita. Glad you like the gift card holder. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
great job Manny!! I love that y'all do so much togetherness.
Precioso!!!
Mil gracias. Abrazos desde el principado de Asturias España. 😘😍
Hi Sheryl. I had people asking about these at my recent craft fair. These exact ones with more than one pocket. Going to try this method. Thank you!!!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
So lovely! Thank you!
Enjoyed the video, thank you!
Thank you for this tutorial! I have to have my husband put snaps in, too.
What a great idea for Xmas gift cards 🙏🥰🇨🇦
It really is!
I bought one of these holders from a craft fair. I carry my atm and gift cards in it. I was wondering how they did it, tfs! I'm not a sewer, but this was fun to watch and maybe, just maybe I'll make some of these!😁
I got those snaps on Amazon. I've been making wallets like crazy to play with the snaps. It's fun!
Same here. 😆
Thanks Sheryl
I am looking for lightweight card slots. Perfect. Thank you.
You’re welcome 😊
Great quick project. Thank you. Would these be deep enough to hold a gift card?
Hi Leah. Great question. I just put a gift card next to a my business card. My business card is slightly longer (1/8") than the gift card. The gift card is slightly taller (1/8") than the business card. I think it will be okay to make this and put a gift card in it. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
Thank you for this lovely project, I have already made one, I don't know if I did something wrong but in the bottom of the back pocket the finish is not perfect as I can see the edges open. The front one is nicely and perfectly finished. Is there a way to have both pockets perfectly finished? Thanks
Hi Dalila. If you did the machine basting stitch with the fusible interfacing, it should hold up. But you could do a zigzag stitch along that one edge before turning it front side out. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
@@TheSewingRoomChannel Thank you very much for your answer.
@@daliladawn8060 try turning the folded pockets to the other side then you get a finished edge .
a step was left off .
@@jocropley thanks for that, I thought a step was missed out.
what about the bottom open raw edges ?
Cheryl , love this easy pattern - but one question after pulling out the raw edges - there not finished the raw edges are still - my card wallet doesn’t come out has a finished product as to where I just add the snap. Help! What is the step I am not doing
She missed showing one step. Once you have it turned out where the raw edges are showing at the bottom, you have to turn the bottom one more time. Stick your middle fingers inside the pocket, with your finger tips in the corners. Put your thumbs on each corner of the outside raw edge. Now push your thumbs up the corners. Once you turn the pocket inside your middle fingers will be on the outside and your thumbs on the inside. Raw edges are now covered. I tried to explain best I could. Sorry if it don't make much sense.
The bottom of mine shows the card pockets. I can’t figure out how to make the bottom solid like a coin purse.
Is the bottom left open?
Hi Linda. No it is not left open. Thanks for watching.😍
Great tutorial but you forgot to tell us to sew the opening after you turned it right side out 😆
I'm waiting on a reply too!!!!!!!
I’m making two of them right now😐🪡
Happy sewing. 😍
I love little quick and easy to do projects, but I have to admit that I'm a little disappointed! We didn't get to see Mr Camera Mans smiling face!!! 🙂
Hi Linda. Very soon you will see his smiling face. He is always so busy it is hard to corner him. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
Wish I could show a picture because it’s driving me nuts that I’m having trouble with an easy project when I’ve made much harder things
Hi Linda. Are you a part of The Sewing Room Channel Facebook group? If yes, you can share a picture there. 😊
After you turn it, whats next? The video skips to putting on the snap
Hi Christina. After you turn it and put the snap on it, close the snap, and wa-la it is done. It is so simple. Try it, and if you have any questions, leave a comment or send an email with picture to thesewingroomchannel@gmail.com
Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
Yeah, something's missing. Where did those two raw edges go?
Mary Schutte did you find out where and what and why we end up with raw edges? I re did twice following the steps and still end up with expose unsewn raw edges. Totally confused
@@pearlleonardbouchard2753 you need to turn the pouch again so the raw edges end up inside( not outside). There was a step missing in the video. If you don't want the raw edges to show, I sometimes do a top stitch at the bottom.
My snaps just never work😢
Hi Tina. Try using Velcro and select snaps that have to be sewn on. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
And how do you close the bottom????????? Big mistake on your part!!!
Hi Jardin. The bottom is closed. It is hidden and covered by the way it is folded together. Try it and you will see. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍
