I started FPV at mid May with Uncrashed. I also tried Liftoff and Velocidrone. I was having a hard time getting golds but after trying Velocidrone, my times improved substantially. IDK maybe it has nothing to do with Velocidrone but stick time. Despite having twitchy hands because of some chronic illness, I now have 3 tracks to get gold medal. I intentionally left camera angle at 42 degrees. We could get faster with higher angles but I try to get faster at relatively low angle. Ultimately, being a good pilot and having fun with some freestyle IRL is my goal.
Aye happy to hear you started you FPV journey despite your disability. I haven't had a chance to try Velocidrone yet but I will be buying that one soon more than likely. I currently have 7 more gold medals to achieve. And I actually am in a line with your goals because I don't have dreams of becoming a drone racer but rather a good drone pilot
