  • One of the joys of boating is the wide variety of different craft on offer. Whereas the vast majority of cars have four wheels and one engine and therefore drive in roughly the same way, boats are much more varied in terms of size, style, hull design and means of propulsion. Glass of whiskey, feet up in a big arm chair, open fire and the calm tones of big Jon Mendez - does life get much better! Thanks as always

Nice control. But I still want to see *single* shaft drive *no* thrusters. You can borrow mine in Plymouth if you want 😁

Thanks. Makes me wish I had a twin. Show us how to do it on a single. Mine is a 34’ trawler with a 26” left hand prop. And let’s put some real wind in there & use minimal or no bow thruster. Thanks!!!

Many thanks for that great video John. Very informative, and done in a lovely manner, you make it look very easy when in reality it’s very easy to get it very wrong. Top job. Love the boat as well. Dale Nelson’s just oooze class Cheers Rich

That was absolutely brilliant to watch especially with the drone footage. You made it look easy though you're clearly a pro!! And that boat with the big forward deck.. beautiful looking craft. What make/model is it?
