Hey Ronan, thanks a lot! If I were to draw a shape like that without a jig I would draw it out using paper to get the shape symmetrical. Draw a centreline along the length of the table top, fold a large piece of paper in half and draw out one quarter of the shape. Then cut out the shape and unfold the piece of paper and that will result in one half of the table top shape which you could then use to trace on to either side of the centre line drawn on the timber. Once the shape is drawn on the timber you would just need to cut the shape out by hand depending on what tools you have available to you. Hope that helps!
Thank you! I was using a socket wrench to screw in the threaded inserts that would receive the bolts, otherwise known as (insert nuts). Hope that helps!
Good work. I would like to know how thick your table legs are. I'm building something similar but can't decide on the right proportion. thanks for the video
Thanks mate! It has been a while since I made this piece but I believe my final dimensions for the legs were about 42mm square. I hope that helps and good luck with your project!
I didn’t actually measure what angle these legs ended up at mate, I just drew the template by eye until it looked right. Probably around 10-15 degrees.
Hi there. I have enjoyed watching this masterpiece come full circle. No pun intended😂. Its been 11 months since this video...any new project coming soon
Hi Neville, thanks for your comment and for following along! I have actually just completed a queen bed frame project with a build video which I will be posting in the next week, so stay tuned for that if you are interested!

Tremendous work. Love the bridle joints on the base. Very clean.
Thanks a lot Neil, glad you enjoyed the build!
Amazing work! Out of interest, is there anyway you would recommend cutting the oval without creating the jig?

Awesome job… what’s the name of the item you used under the legs, and what do you call the metal catchments that received the screws

What angle did you set the legs?

Is the music sped up or is that Alvin and the Chipmunks latest?
Nice work!
Haha yeah it must be the later, cheers mate!
Where I can buy one of these tables?
Where abouts are you from? My business is based here in New Zealand.
