I make something similar with small pretzels in the standard shape. Get your butter melted before adding the brown sugar. The small pretzels seem to break apart better into bark than the rods. I copied and pasted about the brown sugar. The main difference between light and dark brown sugar is the amount of molasses they contain, with dark brown sugar having significantly more molasses, resulting in a deeper color, stronger flavor, and slightly more moisture compared to light brown sugar; essentially, dark brown sugar has a more pronounced caramel taste due to the higher molasses content. Key points about the difference: Color: Dark brown sugar is visibly darker than light brown sugar. Flavor: Dark brown sugar has a richer, more complex flavor with stronger caramel notes due to the higher molasses content. Moisture: Dark brown sugar tends to be slightly more moist than light brown sugar. When to use which: Light brown sugar: Use in recipes where you want a milder molasses flavor, like cookies or cakes where you don't want the taste to be too dominant. Dark brown sugar: Use in recipes where you want a deeper caramel flavor, like gingerbread or bbq

@@KaileesKitchen 1cup white sugar, add molasses1-2 T. Put inmixer… you have home aid brown sugar… Why wouldn’t you make your own… ta da..
@@KaileesKitchenHonestly, I can and I love dark brown sugar rather than light brown sugar.
If you want a chewy cookie use dark brown, and light brown for crispier cookie.@@KaileesKitchen
Dark brown has more molasses in it and it is a little bit of a different taste❤❤❤

Thank you! Do you use both while cooking?
Yes! That’s a great idea :)
@@KaileesKitchen I use light brown in chocolate chip cookies 🍪. Dark brown in homemade baked beans 🫘 😋
I want to see Kailee flex her biceps! She looks very fit
