They used the folktale "Pied Piper of Hamelin" as a reference, wherein they used pied piper to Lured out children. "If BTS wanted their fans to stop their unhealthy obsession on them, then why the song seems to say otherwise?" And that's exactly what BTS did to reinforce their points in this song. They made Pied Piper sounds as alluring and as distracting as possible. They deliberately made it sounds so seductive and attractive to the listener to perfectly convey the message and points behind this song. So, if you ever find yourself saying that Pied Piper is a distractive song, that BTS are telling their fans to continue their unhealthy obsessive behaviour towards them, or anything similar to that, then please know that you just proves BTS' points even more.
Honestly, I think there's just as much meaning in the fan thing and focusing more on their lives than on them, and the sexual tension as well. because there is not only one subject talking about the fans there. there are words a little more... drawn to love and sex too. just pay attention to the way they pronounce themselves in the words and in the performance too.

I think the instrument is just a synth. It's a type of sound used in many songs to enhance the atmosphere if a certain instrument does not completely fit the song's vibe.
The curious thing in my life is that I met BTS for this song, rather as soon as I heard it I fell in love with the vocals, the melody and thanks to this fabulous song I was interested in getting to know them better, I listened to it casually without knowing what the song said lyrics, who was the artist and much less than RM and the boys were giving me a warning that I would enter their world but not neglect the studies. I love them. No one had cared so much about me. XD (I think I had also heard a fragment of I LIKE, somewhere before I met them, but never completed it).

For me stage mixes have diverging results, some actually detracting from the live experience as they involve slicing and dicing of things a specific creator chooses to highlight or omit. As they are fan made content, I actually have seen where they have lost some of the flow and messaging of the choreography in favor of what the creator wanted to empathize for his/her own reasons. That said, some actually are well done. I guess I am an old stooge, but each experience I have had of appreciating an artist in live concert was a unique moment to be treasured for its highpoints and warts both. I am fully aware moments I have been blessed to see live or on RUclips could be expressed differently either in future concerts or in concerts from the past. However, there is value in savoring a moment. All I am saying is you may add or subtract from your unique experience when you select stage mixes for your watch. You are accepting the content creator's interpretations and emphases whereas you might have internalized your experience with the actual material differently had you watch it without using someone else's filter. That said, this is one of the good ones.

For me stage mixes have diverging results, some actually detracting from the live experience as they involve slicing and dicing of things a specific creator chooses to highlight or omit. As they are fan made content, I actually have seen where they have lost some of the flow and messaging of the choreography in favor of what the creator wanted to empathize for his/her own reasons. That said, some actually are well done.
I guess I am an old stooge, but each experience I have had of appreciating an artist in live concert was a unique moment to be treasured for its highpoints and warts both. I am fully aware moments I have been blessed to see live or on RUclips could be expressed differently either in future concerts or in concerts from the past. However, there is value in savoring a moment. All I am saying is you may add or subtract from your unique experience when you select stage mixes for your watch. You are accepting the content creator's interpretations and emphases whereas you might have internalized your experience with the actual material differently had you watch it without using someone else's filter.
That said, this is one of the good ones.
