I hope after fine tuning of this Suresh astra it should be ordered in large numbers also they should be included in the inventory of Navy and Army. Abhyas drone should be better used as Target drones. And Anti tank, anti APC loitering munitions of less than or about 80 km range. But with good amount of warhead.

Great news about sureahastra loitering munitions, waiting for archer ng attack drone update & also waiting for roll out of cats warrior system & armed ghatak drone ,but really concerned about mq9 deal as houthi rebels are constantly destroying mg9 reaper drone
Hello , can anyone here explain me , how IAF is going to use these loitering munitions (excluding the launching facility from aircrafts) if their range is just 150 km .
Shouldn't be it the Indian army which will fight on groud and utilise such kamikaze drones with better tactics ?.

Would love to know more your perspective with recent updates on Tejas Mk 2 timeline being pre-poned to 2025 and Cats Warrior entering fabrication. Do you think this is a good news or just nonsense by govt companies/media?

Tejas Mk-2 was supposed to "Enter Production" in 2025. Instead now they're having 'First Flight' in 2025.
No idea when it will enter production. Maybe in 2030 if HAL is in charge.

Yep, they recently revised the timelines, prototype assembly has started, unlike previous timeline of 2026 it should be done a bit before by late 2025 instead (is what HAL says) first flight is scheduled for 2026 (no changes there)
It's HAL though so keep your expectations when it comes to meeting deadlines low (like very low)
It is commonly used by US armed forces .
Its a surprise, that it is inducted in service,sir is it cheaper alternative to an expensive solutions?
It is priced just fine ! Larger order will yield better pricing

yeh weapon koi aur nahi bana raha within our "friendly nations" circle... yeh drone accha hai step hai... import karne se zyada accha idhar banana hoga... afterall IAF needs funds to be saved (to be directed onto other projects) toh import se MUCH BETTER hai yeh waala drone

lobby ka time ab khatam hai dost... 2034 takk jaise taise agar ongoing projects ke protoypes bann jaate hain and rollout hone lagg jaata hai (like AMCA and Tejas Mk2 and TEDBF) toh mereko nahi lagta IAF aur kuch order karegi
even Medium Transporters banane ka plan bhi "made in india" hi hai toh bahar se tech lenge aur design lenge lekin phir bhi ghar pe hi banayenge...

@@heresomewhere7600 what is the size of delilah's order? 5000 crores + room for follow ons. think any 300cr order can match up. chandigarh lobby uses these tiny orders to show indigenisation and the spends the real big bucks on imports
@@lightyagami5483 i know bro and agree with all you say and even i hope all imports are stopped soon. but everytime we hope to see big orders for indigenous procurement, the same story keeps repeating of chandigarh lobby and imports getting prioritized in the name of proven capability or immediate need

Ulta bola modi term jyada focused hai Indian weapons development pe. Well all comes down to the forces and their own induction teams that pass files down to ccs for approval. Even modi cannot enter the deep hole of weapons procurement in India. The people who are the part of this have to come forward and allow removal of clutter and lobbies which is difficult as these lobbies have history spanning decades.
