    In this video, I will show you how to make a cricket bat with a 40mm edge (the maximum legal limit).
    This bat is made with real English willow, and I made it from the cleft to a finished bat. If you have any comments, write them below and I will reply within 24 hours.

    Another great job kid! Love the bat making videos reminds me of me when I was your age. One tip when shaping the shoulders turn the drawknife bevel down as it will leave a cleaner cut

    which tool did you use for the back concaving.

    • @JLsMakerSpace
      @JLsMakerSpace  3 года назад +3

      For most of the bat I used a drawknife. www.timbecon.com.au/straight-drawknives?gclid=Cj0KCQjwjo2JBhCRARIsAFG667XF57r-hZLrkkqDFOTGHDoevs6_z_eptJWv_EjOSSDFi1V5PT7oX1UaAiCbEALw_wcB
      The tool that I used to carve and dig away at the back is called a "Spoon Carving Tool" or "Carvers Spoon Plane. The website is called Carbatec. Here is the link: www.carbatec.com.au/spoon-carving-tool
      Here is another: www.timbecon.com.au/carver-s-spoon-plane?gclid=Cj0KCQiAvP6ABhCjARIsAH37rbR7ZVr8Qvnxpd7J5eDDgdz_wpA-urkk07t7kL-o3-BGuFkgJjPuJgEaArEREALw_wcB
