    REPENTANCE PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you now and humbly ask for your forgiveness. LORD, I confess that I'm a sinner and I've broken your Holy Law. I realize that the penalty for sin is death. I believe that JESUS CHRIST suffered and died on the Cross to take the punishment for ALL of my sins. I believe JESUS rose from the dead and I accept Him as my personal Savior. From this moment forward I give you my heart and trust you to be the LORD of my life. Please forgive ALL of my sins and send your Spirit to help me do your will. I thank you for your great love and accept your gift of eternal life, and I pray these things in JESUS name
    Amen

Hey Brother. It's not about us wanting to go through the tribulation to feel like we have to prove something. My flesh does not want to suffer. But based on what happened to the apostles and to christians throughout history, there is a high chance we will have to stand firm in our faith before the rapture. I truly believe the Bible teaches that the rapture happens after the tribulation. Plus, we have to think about the fact that there are Christians being killed for their faith today as I type. They were not raptured out. If the rapture happens before the tribulation, that's great! But I still want to be spiritually prepared to suffer major persecution.
    God bless you and yours.

Hi there! I appreciate the courtesy of your tone, and will endeavor to reply in kind. Irenaeus, Church father late first century, and Justin Martyr, same time frame, believed in a pre-trib rapture of the Church. However, both these men knew persecution, and of course Justin Martyr, was indeed martyred. My belief in a pre-trib rapture does not mean, therefore, that I'm certain I'll be spared. I do know this, though: I can only die once, whether through sacrifice or through natural causes. I can hope my death will count for something, but death itself is a certainty this way or that way. There is only one generation that will escape physical death, and of course we all hope we're it! :-) .... For a courteous, low-key and scholarly defense of the pre-trib rapture, I recommend Doug Riggs' 4-part lecture, available on you-tube. You won't agree with all of it, but you may find, as I did, that Riggs makes points you'd not considered. .... One last point, and this my own and not Riggs': I believe that the Church, if still here, would make the Great Tribulation virtually impossible. We'd be healing the sick, per Jesus' commandment, and praying in the supernatural on a scale that not even the Azusa Street revival could equal. We'd be QUITE focused and united for a change -- thus giving the anti-Christ a very hard time of it. We'd be telling others to "fear not!" Thus the dictatorship founded on fear would have a tough time gaining a toe hold. ... All this is to say: I think the Church, empowered by the Holy Spirit, is the "restrainer." As long as we're here, we'll restrain, and either way, we have nothing to fear!

Oooops -- forgot. Doug Rigg's 4-part lecture is called "The Blessed Hope." If you google it by his name and by that title, all 4 parts will pop up. I hope you enjoy!

Do you believe in Once Saved Always Saved? Even for those who continue to live their life in horrible sins without any repentance?

Jim Tallow .... last part of your statement says it all...I believe if you are truly saved you are good to go... the Bible also says a lot about repentance. If you truly repent you won't go back to that old lifestyle
