Love, love, this hard working machine. Got it during Covid and use it everyday, churning out lap quilts for local nursing homes. Both men and women love having something bright and cheerful to cover their legs. I put pockets in the top so they can put their cell phones or tissues in the pocket. LOVE THIS MACHINE. Love Janome machines, have two others for back up but have never needed them, granddaughters use them.
The perfect video, just what I was looking for. I been looking for a all-in-one sewing machine, and this is video really gives a good overview on this machine. So I think this is the one for me, and it quite afordebole for what you get!
I have had this machine for 3 years and can’t seem to get used to it and wish they had a class on it near me so I can start using all the features and benefits of it
Hi, I just saw a RUclips playlist that said Janome 6700P lessons. Maybe you could look that up and find it helpful? I hate to write the name of the creator on someone else’s video though.
Perfect video, I would like to know the quality of the Scallop edge stitch of the machine. If you have any video to share I will be glad to watch. Thank you from Morocco.
Im sold! What a great tutorial. I love all the selling points and special features. I've been researching a machine to sew heavy fabrics that may require a walking foot. I think I've made my decision thanks to you. There was so much pertinent information in this video.. Thanks for taking the time to upload this. Wish I could've seen the last foot in action.. I'm very interested in how the walking foot works on this machine, I plan to cover some seats on a boat for a friend. I wanted to make sure this machine can handle the Marine vinyl.. Also, do you have to purchase needles specifically for this Brand of machine?
Hi Dana! Are you local? You are welcome to come in the store or give us a call with any questions you might have about this machine. Our phone number is (407)831-6488. Ask for the Machine Dept, we would be happy to help you!
Hi! Super video!! I bought this machine few weeks ago and wanted to try new things, like quilting! Unfortunately I haven't been able to put the adjustable quilting foot you showed. What am I doing wrong?? Do you know where I can find a tutorial on how to put that foot on the machine?
I am just considering whether this machine would suit me. I make canvas rucksacks and pannier bags so l need a very high lift foot as well as punchy strong sewing. How high does the foot lift? On corners etc l may be sewing across 12 layers. Cheers
Is there a way to adjust or turn off the light. I cannot see well, especially in bright light. Just got this machine and the light is much too bright. Thanks. Take care.
I’ve had my 6700P for 2 years and it is a great machine. HOWEVER, I have had nothing but problems with my needle making contact with the bobbin case. I am on my 5th one and they run about $58. The machine has been looked at and serviced but they can’t seem to figure out why this is happening. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this.

Can you use quilt templates with this machine like the westerlee?

Where can I get the blue dot bobbin for this machine?
Hi Barbara! You can find that Bobbin Holder on our website here: sewing.net/products/bobbin-holder-for-free-motion-quilting

Does this machine have the setting for auto up/down foot ?
Yes
Can you show us ?
does it have a feature to know your total stitch count?
Hi there, you can probably find this number somewhere in the settings of the machine.
