I can't wait for this, as I am dating again after such a long time , I can move differently now , I am taking my time really get to know this man, the core of his soul :) I used to rush everything this is why I am not married yet because of my own wrong doing, giving men my time that did not deserve it. - You must be clear in your mind and articulation about your value and goals
- You need to know what your looking for in a relationship
- Objectively observe there behavior
- Ask questions about interests, value, goals
- A man with bad intentions will not be okay with questions
- Spend physical time
- Trust your inner guide
- If something is off, pay attention to that feeling and investigate further

He called me red flags. I believed that. He played played played me all along and then crushed my heart and threw me and acts and behave like he is the king, he is successful with a lot of best friends, best friends who are girls.. is very painful.

I was over 18 by the time he told me either of these things. The second one I was 29 or so. The first one I may have been in earlier 20s.

Alone as far as nobody to talk to about it I have family, but I haven't been able to converse with anyone about how I am feeling. I am going to enjoy my singleness too until the boxes are checked :)
My dad was addicted to drugs for the first 28 years of my life. Growing up without that fatherly guidance, acknowledgment, wisdom and love I sure have bumped my own head so many times in search of this “approval” then God spoke, he has given me all of this through YOU Bishop. God said to me, “you may not have the father that gave you life that you have many fathers, including me.” the bitterness, the resentment, all the anger has completely left my body and my energy and I am taking accountability for myself RC. I’ve found this to most definitely be true. Time seems to be a teller of things such as this. For many in time the good behavior mask falls off, although I do believe there are still good men. We a women just have to pace ourselves versus hopping into something blindly.

Sis, I know how you feel; been there. What I've learned was that my precious gift of a child is my responsibility. And, if the father doesn't take responsibility...that's HIS misfortune.
So, I 'pulled up my 'boot straps' (figuratively speaking) and got my 'big girl' self out in the workforce and did what I had to do to support MY child.
No, it's not always easy. However, making good choices and doing the rights things pays off, BIG TIME! Praying for you.🙏🏼

Right on time because after my divorce from a narcissist I feel like I’m still a little naive. I need to keep listening to you that got me out of that mindset I was in. I need to keep learning even after getting rid of the ungodly marriage I was in.

I’m in my 50’s now, and I have been practically destroyed from be married to narcissist. I saw all the red flags, but i still thought it was ok, because my father was a narcissist. So in that sense, I didn’t know any better. But I now plan on being single for the rest of my life. And I’m ok with that. Because for the first time in my life, I am enjoying my PEACE. But I listen to you regularly anyway. Because I enjoy your messaging. I have grand daughter and thanks to you, I can one day refer them to your teaching when they become old enough to date. Thanks for the advice and wise counsel. I've always been good at questions but shared values was a lot more difficult to come by and I was always feeling behind the clock. Thanks for the endorsement of singleness in particular. I think that was the most valuable takeaway for me. Oh and in Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 we say "what sweet in goat mouth sour in he bam bam" that's exactly what you said when you said what feels good today doesn't feel so good tomorrow.

Out in the field and I must say it can be tempting to settle for a cute face and 6’ but these guys are usually non believers and just see me as another to add to the roster. Can’t settle!
The key to see them for who they are is to not have sex with them whatsoever. Then you can see clearly. I don't care if it's 6months to a year, do not, I repeat do not have sex with them. Sex blinds you completely! Then you will be able to hear and see them clearly for who they are.

I agree, you have to test a man out in different scenarios and situations, ask questions, ask them again but also compare the answers to their actions...... listen to the questions they ask you, especially of there are about your finances or if you have a home and he doesn't, if he is covertly seeking a shelter, while he has never thought it necessary to own or rent anything, in other words, he doesn't have a place to take you too. Observe, listen..... spend time with them and without them, there is where you gain clarity and discernment.........

Isn’t it true you both have to be attracted to one another and love one another? You can’t just choose a guy because he fits a lot of everything else your looking for. It seems I always find guys who are either into me and I’m not him or I am into him and he’s not into me. It’s always one sided and I’m doubtful there is someone for me. I’ve asked God and I don’t understand why the one hasn’t appeared. I don’t see myself settling for just a nice guy I’m not attracted to . That’s just a friend to me.

Thank you for saying singleness is the ideal because it is, in this wicked world God said (its in the Bible) single ones will do better. 1 Corinthians 7:38.
Manipulative men have convinced women they are of no value in their single state when single women are the most featured and sought after resource. God gave women value the moment he made us. No one can take that away. A good marriage may amplify your value but very few women have been able to enjoy that.
At 8:00, do you see NOW how pastors use FEAR to keep women from getting married? They use slick words that sound good but are anti-biblical. The Bible, for example, does NOT use the word "single" to describe someone without a spouse. It uses the word "unmarried". Single means: to be whole within yourself and connected and one with GOD. So if you want to know if someone is ready to be married, just find out if they are single.
Also, ladies, there is a difference between a man, a married man, and a husband. If you marry a man, you will only have a married man not a husband. Many marriages fail because most men get married without getting ANY husband training.
Every man that is eligible to be married does not qualify to be a husband if he has NOT first had another man teach him how to be a REAL man, leader, husband, father, and provider. A husband is "good ground" with the capacity to "appreciate" or increase a woman's value and financial productivity as it says in Matthew 13:8 "But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold."
Brothers, there is a difference between a woman, a married woman, and a wife. If you marry a woman, you will only have a married woman not a wife. Proverbs 18:22 says he who finds a "wife" finds a good thing and obtains "favor" of the Lord. Notice the scripture says he who finds a wife, not a woman. The word "good" in that verse means: something of value. When a wife and husband marry, they have the capacity to increase the wealth in their family exponentially. The husband increases his wife's value (some 30, 60 or 100 fold). However, because a wife come with the "favor of GOD" she does not "add" to her husband's value. She multiplies on the "powers" level up to the Billion dollar or 10 to the 9th power level.
I have courses on Dr. Will Enterprises that will teach you how this works in depth such as the "King Maker Master Class," "Money DOES Grow on Trees", and "There's GOLD in them Heels" but you will NEVER find a pastor who recommends them to his members.
Asking questions is a polite way of testing. Questions reveal motives 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

That’s why I don’t fall into the trap of go with the flow. People say oh you asked too many questions. If you don’t ask questions how the hell you would know if the person in front of you is a time waster or someone you want to move forward with.

Men who are NOT for you , or just people in general will Insist that you don’t need to approve of them. Your approval has never been sought after which means it has no value. If you think poorly of something they do or say it’s because it’s above your comprehension or just flat out invalid. They hate your approval because it’s typically for things better than what you already have which is kryptonite to the hater. People who seek your approval value you enough to treat you like you matter. This means displaying emotionally valuable offerings like time, kindness, compassion and support, sacrificing things, arriving early, balancing their goals for you to be a priority. Better to make someone else disappointed and deal with it later than upset you the valuable one. This in tandem with consistency will show you a persons true character. Bad people can never put someone first.

I don’t think I’m destined to be with anyone because the heart has to choose not just the mind. It’s also hard finding someone who loves you back. Another reason I don’t jump into relationships. My dream of a true love is far fetched
