He said that this album is about "the idea that everyone has scars, everyone has been hurt. But even so, shouldn’t we still love?" It came out on van Gogh's birthday. The second album is Grey Suit (2022). He was inspired by the book Momo. The theme of this album is time and it was his comeback after getting back from the military. "The world is that beautiful and time moves so fast, but I’m the only one stuck in this moment. The time I’m living in now is black and white, but that world is colorful."
Suho and Xiumin are criminally underrated. And only recently has Kai been able to shine in the group as a vocalist. I never liked his rapping, he worked on his range so much and his first 2 albums are no skip masterpieces. Their album that dropped today did a great job at letting other members shine and I’m so happy. All these boys are too skilled individually to be overlooked.

It's okay, i've been an exol for awhile now and even i only recently like jekyll. They've performed it live on their last group concert but kai's solo performance of that song on his solo concert is what finally drove it home for me. The chorus was also my problem but idk how kai did it but his performance truly made me think "alright, i understand this song now, i like it". That's a whole 3 years😂. It might grow on you, it might not. It's just a matter of preference i guess. Also i'm a big butterfly effect stan! So happy to see you like that one a lot too. Such a beautiful song. The entire album is about the members fighting the evil inside them, there is good EXO and evil EXO (X-EXO) the songs that talk about that the most are Obsession and Jekyll. Jekyll is really interesting cause we have both EXO and X-EXO in a power battle that’s why they say stuff like “break out” “why you push me away, I’m already in” like meaning I have power over you. For EXO albums the concept is really important because its not only the title track, they carry the concept throughout the entire album

Obsession was a great record! Out of all the songs, I had Groove, Trouble, Obsession and Butterfly Effect on the most! Just like you, can't explain what it is about Butterfly Effect but that's my favorite. Groove is what I call the vacation getaway song. Makes you feel like you're on some tropical island.
