"The Violent Sleep of Reason" is the eighth full-length album by Swedish progressive metal band Meshuggah. It was released on 7th October 2016 via Nuclear Blast. This album was recorded live in the studio, simultaneously with all members, rather than recording each instrument separately as is more common for modern recording.

A systematically applied veil to heedless eyes

A parody, this mockery
