I could definitely hear track 10 being in a spyro level. Track 11 in a crash bandicoot level. And track 3 being in ridge racer. Which is high praise because all of those have fantastic music
can't wait to get to that one!
This one was one of my favorite games as a child.
1:45 I can totally relate with the fact of finally playing a game translated and dubbed in your own language and localized dialect back in the PS1 era. Being from Québec, it was amazing to hear the original French-Canadian VAs dubbing this game along with Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time. While it was difficult, or even impossible, to navigate through certain games in English when I was young, it was also good first exposure for me to start learning English in elementary school.
I don't know if that ones has a portuguese dub, but I'll check it out!
It was really cool!
Just like everyone here, this game was my childhood too. Being able to play it nowadays and finishing it was a nice moment of closure. I'm glad that you covered it BlueTag!
glad I got to go back to it!
My buddy had a PSX demo of this game when we were kids. I looooooved it. Thanks for reminding me of it!
That's awesome! I'm glad the video brought you some memories!
I'm so glad you covered this game, I loved Looney Tunes so I was obsessed with this game when I was young. Even if I got stuck on levels I had so much fun just experimenting with what works and what doesn't in that game, I vaguely remember immediately resorting to violence and trying to game end the dog using the dynamite you get
dude, honestly same. LOL
Yo I'm glad you covered this. There's another PS1 gem no one talks about. BUGS BUNNY LOST IN TIME. Finally beat it! It's a childhood goal.
I revisited this game after never beating it as a kid and yes, it gets really tough. I had to look up online how to beat Gossamer but other than that I didn't have to use a guide (paying the price of spending hours in the later levels).
This game for some reason reminds me of The Grinch game for ps1
I've been emulating ps1 games lately and I love any type of games related to cartoons so I'm definitely playing this one
nice! I hope you enjoy it, love this one!
This game has aged so damn well on PC. I was able to get it running perfectly at 1080p with widescreen and 60fps a few years ago and it just looked gorgeous. I might have to try running it at 4k 120fps now.
THIS!! I am not the only one thinking the same then. Too bad i could never capture it on obs. Have you ever tried to??
@@Andurro unfortunately not. The only gameplay recordings I've done were using either Nvidia recording software or fraps, but I haven't attempted it for this game yet.
@@Reds-Retros So nvidia shadowplay should work?? Might give it a try one of these days.
@@Andurro I general yes, but for this game I have no idea yet, sorry 😕
Let me know how it goes for you
I remember this game. I only played it on a demo disc tho lol
Yesssss! Sheep Dog 'n' Wolf was my childhood favorite!
I've heard tons of games soundtrac but Track level 15 is from another world!
This thumbnail is probably your best ever
and it only took me 10 minutes to do!
shame
Your work shows❤️
0:40 fun fact in spanish they are cousins and i finished that game like 2 times and another with time travel
Woooooow secret deep memory unlocked
Sheesh! Major throwback i remember i had this game same with “monsters inc” and “Spiderman 2: enter electro” on some demo game! I just recently bought this game again:,)
demos were so cool!
can't believe it was all in "le head"
it's like the old "he's in a coma" creepypasta
In my 4 year old child logic, I used to think that games in the States were in spanish or at least you would be able to find a dub for the games over there, while here in Mexico we were just receiving games in english for no apparent reason 😅.
I kinda picked up the basics of English via Tekken 3, Spyro 3 and FIFA 98 so the idea of a legitimate game with a PT-BUR dub as early as the PS1 days comes off as a bit of a shock.
So much nostalgia. We were living in an apartment and this was one of those games on a demo disc my dad had for the ps1. I just remember dressing as a sheep alot.
I remember this being really hard compared to bugs lost in time 🤣
this is definitely one of my favorite games ever. if you haven't seen the speedrun scene of this game you should check it out, it's almost got to mario 64 levels of insane tricks and precise glitches! also, i'm sure there IS a way to get the PC version to look brighter like the PS1 version, and even run in windowed mode.
Ralph the red nose wolf lol.
i played a lot of the taz infograme's game and this one seems a ps1 demake of that one, really cool
Never known this existed!! Reminds me of bugs and taz time busters!
One of my favorite games of all time.
What's up with ps1 games having the best soundtrack
I rented games from Blockbuster every week for PS1 and N64 as a kid. The memory of them has since been whipped but seeing the gameplay brings me back.
Thank you for the nostalgic road trips!
I also thought this character was coyote from the cartoons.
Maaaan, Hogs of War was so much fun back in the day. I should replay it some day.
Also, being a brazilian that grew up back in a time where we rarely had games in portuguese, this and Monster Crunch blew my mind when I got to play them and heard brazilian voice acting. It was awesome!
I love this game so much, I remember playing it when I was little and having so much fun, honestly it's really underrated
5:48 it's a relatively simple reason as to why that happens. Basically the ps1 didn't have a z-buffer (which is responsible for choosing which objects are rendered in front of others) so developers had to create a software implementation for that. The problem with that is that it uses up precious resources so the less it used, the better, but as a side effect of having to use less resources, many games had more texture warping and model layering issues.
that mysterious fade In was fantastic! great memories!
This game was locked away in the back of my mind and I thought no one else ever heard or played this game.
Its such a odd and nostalgic PS1 game the levels and music are great even if its alittle janky. Really a hidden gem. Plus jiggly sheep
Basically like Scaler for the PS2!
@@BlooTeg Crazy!!
Holy shit, first Spider Man, now this. I mean, this is more underrated IMO, but still, great taste and great trip down the memory lane. :) Thanks again.
I still wish the soundtrack was on Spotify, it's an absolute banger. At least it's possible to find it online. :)
I agree! I never see anyone talking about this one, it's a shame really
I loved this game. And it deadass holds up both in gameplay and looks. None of my friends had this so finally I can share this memory w other ppl on the internet :) cheers BlueTag
cheers my dude!
Dude I remember when I played gears of wars 1 and there was a dub in Spanish and I was shocked
Let's just say that I still have this game's soundtrack saved on my PC. The sort of bluesy jazz combined with electronics reminds me of SimCity 4's music so if you're a fan of Sheep Raider's tunes that one might also be worth a listen.
Its not just you, I tried playing this recently and some levels just require some extreme specific puzzle solving which is hard even as an adult, if any kid finished this game when it released without a guide it is probably a nuclear physician or space engineer nowadays.
RIGHT? Whoever wrote that review must be a genius.
I finished it when I was maybe 10
I became a gamedev
I love these kind of games, where you're playing as if it was another episode of the show. Another interesting thing: They bought Atari and now they're called Atari SA
I noticed that, when I tried going to the Infogrames wikipedia page it redirected me to the atari page, which got me confused at first lol
I have never played this game, but there's a lot of Looney tunes games on the PS1 that play just like it
Track 10 sounds like its from Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero.
Pretty cool looking game and Nice video man. I'm gonna check out some more stuff of yours.
thanks a lot! hope you enjoy it my dude!
So goddamn happy you give this piece of golden gem a review, I loved it since I got my hands on it. Nowadays I keep listening to the awesome soundtrack it has. True masterpiece 💕
And keep up the good work, I love your videos !!
You make great videos, mate!
thank you!
I guess nobody talks about it because people won't expect much from licensed games, given their reputation.
I saw this game in the shop where I went to play games for some hours when I was a child, and like, would you play a Coyote game or a Crash game? Or Medal of Honor? Or soccer?
Then I never saw someone playing it. Until today lol
But it looks really good actually, specially having Brazilian dub. I would be shocked if I knew at the time.
I think it's because of the similarities in the name with tomb raider. Maybe it was like just to make it sound like tomb, raider or something
Nice video! I always wanted to play that. But tbh, about the soundtrack. Sounds awesome, but it reminds me on different things. The first two has a driver 2 vibe, third more a dkc vibe and the fourth reminded me on another game, i just forgot wich one.
But thanks for showing. I always wanted to play it as kid.... Now i feel old. 😅
I remembered this game until you bring it up!!!!! I even played the Pirate version, because was hard to find
Man!!! The memories!!!!
Nostalgia overload! Do you guys play these in Spanish? Was the dub any good?
I played twice... Usually I prefer the original language, But all the Spanish dubs were usually made by Spain, not "American" Spanish.
Oh, I get that. Sometimes we got portuguese dubs from Portugal lol
@@BlooTeg and, are those accurate, or kinda funny??? 😆😆
Completely different that brazilian portuguese, we usually don't play it if that's the case, definitely funny to hear though haha
6:57 it kinda reminds me of the music from The driver(ps1)
TRUE, I still gotta get to that one
@@BlooTeg
I love that game, but man some parts of the game are just way too hard lmao
Fr, Hearing this game having a brazilian dub with the official voices from here is mind boggling for me and I never ever played this game before. One thing tho which is completely unrelated but in 0:45 you mentioned Infrogrames but you didn't mentioned Driver??? 😑
Nice video btw
I wanna get to that one, but I think I missed that infogrames published it!
@@BlooTeg oh It's fine, The Driver series was actually made by Reflections and published by Infogrames. something to point out since I really like this franchise.
Great video as always
thank you so much!
A true hidden gem, if there ever was one ;)
0:29 wait this isn't coyote?
I actually played this game when I was 5
I couldnt progress further cause I couldnt speak english
EXACTLY!
My first language is hungarian cause
That where I am from
i loved this game i eventually used cheats to level skip though
Totally i play a demo one time an another an another.

What would it take to get ya to review the muppets monsters game? Hell ide send you my copy to play
LOL I'll see if I can get to it soon, gonna throw some priority on it
Absolutely adore this game, would really love to see Looney Tunes games make a comeback
same, even thought I doubt warner will ever do that :(
I guess I am just way to young for this. I didnt know any of this existed at all.
It's really cool to go back to it though! See how different games were back then
I've been sick for a while but I still stop to watch your videos... I am late to this video ...sorry I love you channel ❤️..
No worries at all! Thank you so much for watching, hope you get better soon!
Damn muppet race mania sure looks weird
delicious video
delicious is definitely a funny way to refer to it, thank you!
cool game
it's not as easy as your regular children game surprisingly
İt was so hard İ couldnt finished it
Great Great Game , ty bro
Can you do TD Overdrive: The Brotherhood of Speed or simply known as Test Drive in North America?
definitely!
@@BlooTeg Cool! Looking forward to this and the Shutoku Battle/Tokyo Xtreme Racer one.
this game looks sooo goooood
right? I love it
Amazing game, amazing soundtrack
agreed!
nice
reminds me of bugs bunny and taz: time busters
It was too hard for my 5 years old brain 🤣
nice.
