The hockey night in Canada opening is so awesome. Reminds me of my Grandpa.

Cool! Recognized Dave Devall in one of the Ford ads. That Hockey Night in Canada theme is iconic. Liked the way it "bookended" the commercials.

This is so AMAZING to see. Wow, like a time machine. I remember this stuff. Also, you forget how ancient these products look now. Plus, advertising has come a LONG way since then. So much more slick now. Mind you, many of these are so charming. Like that Molson Ad with the three guys putting the raft in the water. Great little mini-story.

I may have watched that with my Gramps so long ago. Thank you.

Ever since I saw Damn Yankees a year ago I've been trying to think of the commercial that used the song from the musical.
Thank you for putting that angst to rest !

I remember hearing that second Molson Light beer ad song when I was 10 years old back in 1978! What a great remake of the 1950's song "You gotta have heart" and you played the whole song too! I wish I could find a YT video that plays the entire song! Thanks for this upload!

I worked for the ad agency that did the Molson Light spots. They were hugely successful and sold a lot of beer 😊

Looks like SNL's Robin Duke playing the bride in that Scotiabank ad.

    Before VISA there was CHARGEX.
Hearing the HNIC theme never gets old.
And we close with the "exploding pizza" from CBC.

That would be Dave Hodge doing the intro to the hockey night in Canada theme!
